Do we practice things. Like crossing?
-
So glad he kept the same formation. Was worried for a moment he would do something stupid and change it. Back line of Begovic, Riccy, Lacelles, Vestergaard and Luke is simply horrible.
-
Who picks the formation then?
-
Dropping Kasper and playing Ward that stopped a consecutive appearances record showed there was something really odd going on. I think there had been power struggles for a while which really showed after that Forest cup game. Rodgers publicly stating he needed a refresh of players, behaving like he was just going to get it and then the club doing nothing (apart from a fire sale and a purchase of side show bob). All this showed that our club wasnt being run anymore. Power stuggles ended up with noone having any power at all.

Pains me to say it, but when we started playing When you're smiling before kick-off. Actually, I noticed something was very wrong when West Ham beat us 4-1 at the London Stadium the season we finished 8th. Hammers fans behaved like they had thrashed one on the top 6, and we behaved like potential relegation candidates all season. We had just lost Fofana to injury and there was a huge frailty in the team. So i think it started in the preseason after the FA Cup win.

I have a feeling today is one of those days where something spectacular goes wrong. Some feelings: Portsmouth score from the kickoff Fatawu sent off for either horror tackle of arguing with ref / lino A fight between our players Horrible own goal (slow backpass or something) Lose 6-0 We have this habit of having horrific away days from time to time. Today has the hallmarks of one.
-
Surely the rule book says that you wait until 3 weeks before the end of preseason, and bring in the players the manager doesnt want.
-
And its Marco Rose. Someone who was often on the wish list of forum members on here. But Rudkin and Top probably never heard of him and if they had he didnt have Premier League experience.
-
So, if we win all our remaining games () and Blackburn beat Sheffield Utd, we finish above them. Not happening, but you would think it would give our players something to work with.
-
Then you put your arm around them, tell them they gave it their all, point at what they did well and identify the not so well as part of their development. And tell them that this relegation was not their fault. Man management. Best for all the experienced players that have consistently let us down to not play, as they are clearly incapable of winning football games.
-
Id actually drop both Fatawu and Steph for Bobby and Monga. Bring Fatawu on in the 65th minute or so.
-
Which shows what a belle d the manager is. Look at the goal contributions per minute played. Nothing suggests Mavadidi is contributing more.
-
Old, slow, useless and injured. What a time to be a Leicester fan.
-
Rowetts choice. Always play for the draw.
-
Kingy isnt a manager. Rowett is just a crap one. Our problem is not getting a 'good' manager and persisting with rubbish that has not succeeded anywhere.
-
If this was the first 10 games of the season, this record would have him under pressure of the sack. To underperform Marti is a discace. He's clearly checked out and now doesnt care - would rather he just wasn't taking the games to be honest.
-
We needed to win games. I think he has massively f4cked up in his approach. He's treated this no differently to past teams who were all clubs expecting to be in a relegation fight. He's tried to go for an underdog approach and these guys just wont see themselves like that. Rowett didnt simply have the ability to work with these players.

By the time he came here he was a journeyman footballer with no interest in playing first team football, even in cup games. I used to watch him in warmups and wonder what the point is. The most difficult thing he used to do was pick balls up for the other keepers. His view of Leicester City was purely transactional, so it seems fitting that his end was treated that way too. He used his experience to get the best possible payday he could at the end of his career, for doing the least amount of work possible. We have no idea if he was even meeting the basic expectations of his employment, if he putting all his effort into making sure his team performed the best they could - especially during the PL relegation season. Nothing any of us saw suggested he was remotely important to the overall fabric of the club at that time. I'm finding it a little hard to be overly sympathetic, and find it hypocritical to some degree. Complaints of our players are loud and clear - they don't know they are born, get paid more in a week than i do in a year, where is the effort, they don't care about the club. Why all of sudden, do you care about Alex Smithies who barely lifted a finger for this club? Getting some sort of deal to pay off his retirement - i'd take that personally for doing very little over a phone call. And as for the manager - I would like to think he had more important things to do than congratulate someone who had done next to nothing for him and was employed under the previous regime. That might feel harsh, but i have much more empathy for the 30k or so workers, some with decades of service, who were laid off one day via an email. And finally, whilst he might have been playing since he was 6, he had 0 appearances for us. Did his other clubs lay on something for him when he retired? That would have been much more fitting to be honest, and if not, far worse than what Rudkin did or didn't do. I hope they did - as its service that should be rewarded. Please by no means think that Rudkin is anything other than a **nt.

In Leicestershire live, there was an article thinking this would be the lineup if we don’t sign players Gk Stolarczyk DEF Jayden Joseph Aluko Kevon Gray Luke Thomas MID Braybrooke Skipp Page FOR Jake Evans Alves Hutchinson Crazy to think most are from the academy (apart from Skipp)
-
Then he should be sacked?
-
Unless we offered a better salary - he will likely now always be in the running for a top half championship club.
-
Thanks! Someone at somepoint mapping points per game back to Vestergaards injury. Our whole season has been dictated by Jordan James' fitness.

Im glad Vestergaard got to play against Swansea. Everyone needed reminding just how sh1te he is. Cannot believe he is contracted for another year. A complete disgrace. -
