I have a level of pragmatism when it comes to Mavididi (is working very hard), Nelson (Ive been harsh, but he is the better of the CB's, but struggling) and Hamza (Riccy has been terrible, and cant play every game). Ayew and Okoli - real, real problems. If Lascelles isnt fit then he shouldnt be on the bench. If he cant play then we shouldn't have bought him. Ayew is the worst offender out of all of that, because deep down i can see that Okoli cares - he just isnt good enough. Ayew does not give a tiny sh*t about this - and how any manager cant see what the fans think of him, let alone see what he is doingm is beyond me. Interestingly, i've not heard Rowett refer to Ayew once in a post match interview. Edit - and the fact pretty much all youth are now black listed - massive red flag.

Lets not please start to pretend that Riccy has been any good.

Disgusting. Fans had to yell at him to start pressing them during the first half. Also, when James scores, he grabbed him and stopped him running to the fans. Shouldn't annoy me as much as it did, but Jordan James as a good rapport with the fans, and clearly wanted to run over. Also, a bit later in the 2nd seems to fluff a chance inside the box. Offers nothing as a player. No idea why he is even in the squad. When did he last have a proper goal contribution? -

Wasnt that Daka? -
Positivity following a penalty save?
-
100% agree. It should be full with the sort generating business / sponsorship revenue.
-
Okoli is one of the worst passers of the ball i have ever seen. Lascelles could have played today and mitigated that. Why not? Not buying Begovic at all. Was in goal for some of our worst collapses.
-
Vesty and Begovic aren't the answers. We are simply f**cked.
-
QPR got a strangehold on the game at around the 30th minute. You could see it coming. Ayew in no mans land (and the crowd had to yell at him to press!), Fatawu constantly losing the ball, Mukasa really struggling. QPR had complete control of the midfield, so something also had to change there. To start the same team and go 3 down quickly when the warning signs were there IS on the manager. Rowett got lucky against Bristol, and was piss poor today.
-
An XG of 0.42 (0.22 in the 2nd half when we are chasing the game). 0 big chances. Still playing so much pretty stuff. Short dinky passes etc, whilst QPR defend and flood the midfield with pace, efficiency and never once put a foot wrong, and counter quickly and effectively. Did you see any of their wingers lose the ball like Fatawu did? But the pretty stuff isn't delivering. Surely Rowett is the sort of Ham and Egger who wants the basics sorted?
-
Lets not forget he gave the penalty away that nearly ruined the game against Bristol. On a very poor run of form.
-
The managers are doing exactly the same thing. If nothing changes in teh approach, then nothing will do on the pitch.
-
I was actually a little concerned about the positivity following the draws and the Bristol win. Bristol were terrible, but if the penalty had gone in, we would have crumbled. Nelson admitted as much. We should have won at least 1 of the games vs Ipswich or Middlesborough. But the team selection for the last 2 games has been appalling. Nothing has changed. Jordan ******g Ayew stinking the front line out, and playing out the back with *******g Okoli. Winks dropped to have James and Skipp tripping on each others toes. It's still Marti ball, with the same players. I variation of 4-3-3 with players who cant do it, and playing out the back with defenders who both dont have the skill and have their confidence shot to pieces. Does the manager actually do anything at this football club? Also nice to see Oxford doing brilliantly without him.
-
I was confident. Then i remember the Fulham game (although away) in the Deano era. This lot have a habit of putting a stinker in to remind us exactly what we are all about. I now fear it could be today.

Does your kitchen have a nice little bald spot?

Yet, significantly better than Ricardo? We dont have great options. Its either the OAP, the kid or Hamza. Choose your poison. But at least when Hamza is on it (and he has lots of days when hes all over the place) he has some physicality. I hate saying it, but he starts over Riccy and you rotate with Aluko. Riccy offers nothing right now.
-
Is this true? Noticed some heavy strapping on one hand when he took gloves off
-
Unpopular opinion. I don’t like him, shouldn’t be captain, know he is moments away from a red card and long term we should be considering better options. But yesterday he was better than Ricardo has been all season. And Riccy felt like a downgrade when he came in.

Could be a season changing moment that. Lifted the stadium.

Nah. Just terrible piles. -
Who is this player? He’s been down the gym for sure.
-
I presume Ayew came in waving clause 10.5 of his contract stating he must play if available. watching the warmup. He can’t run. Booing will be horrid.
-
Presume Rowett thinks we can’t win this so goes all in for QpR?
-
Aluko dropped. So that’s him and Page completely out now. Horrific.
