Aware of Evans record last season. Didn’t think it was as strong this one and he didn’t take his opportunities preseason for sure. What about the Soumare question?

Is Evans smashing it in the U21's right now? I think there is a balance between chucking them in there and developing them. And we are at the stage where Skipp is the solution again (because hes not been played for a few games). Skipp was a complete plonker when he came on against Wrexham. They are as shite as each other.

Page is away but didnt set the world alight when he did start ( i think he would have featured today if he wasn't away btw) . Fek knows what's happening with Nelson, Evans was way off it in pre season and needs time. Aluko I am surprised hasnt featured but even so at his stage is not likely to be an upgrade on Thomas. Who else was going to take a midfield spot from Soumare? Enlighten me. And before you think im some sort of Soumare lover, I nearly shat myself when i saw him on the team sheet.

The leadership at our club are not going to change their objectives around how they want to play. Even fighting for out live in the PL we had to focus on a way of playing. The option that will be on top of their list is Russell Martin. Mark my words.

It's a weird thing to berate not playing the youth, yet complain that he played the wrong 'type' of youth - especially the one with more senior experience. To a degree, i think this has become a bit of distraction. With Page away and Ramsey injured, there was no one in the academy that was going to take the midfield spot Soumare took today. It was a horrific choice Marti ended up taking. It was either that or bring Ayew in as a 10 and let James play his box to box role, especially as Bobby has just come back from injury. So there you are, you are the manager and your choices are Soumare or Ayew. I think with the lack of Monga he chose for Ayew to be backup for the wingers today and that pushed him into this decision. Its all well and good complaining at the manager, but his midfield choices included Skipp, Ayew, Booby and Soumare. And there are still posters in here who think we have the best squad in the league. When WInks isn't on it, life is horrific in our Midfield. And dont get me started on strikers.

And falls over. This guy really had a cult following. One game someone next to me spent the whole game shouting 'Gooo on JORDAN!' everytime he got the ball, took photos of him all game and ignored everyone else on the pitch. Against Wrexham, he messed up a the end and miscontolled for a throw in. Someone near me shouted 'Don't worry Jordan, im sure everything will be ok next time'. And don't get me started on the ole ole chant every time he does something without falling over.

Watch that run he did early in the game after the pass to and from Abdul, where Ayew was in the middle of nowhere. Kid must be wondering why he bothered. Always a risk taking someone with his injury record. Painful.

He fell out of favour and they saw no future for him. Maybe he needed a big refresh out of the PL to get his head straight. Maybe the 3gls he's got will be as good as it gets.

Maybe they need to take english classes at Seagrave too. Although the guy has too many names, he seems to have started well at Cardiff for sure.

He's always says he classes himself as a coach. I don't see how International football works for him. He'll fall out with the strong characters quite quickly but wouldn't be able to develop any of the rough diamonds (i think thats how he put it). If Forest had waited i could have seen that happening, as i think they are still in the mindset that they can flash the cash and he would be the consultant they needed to push on. I don't see Wolves or West Ham being an option. I certainly don't think he is up for a West Ham style relegation battle with toxic fans. Its got to be Spain or Italy for him to rebuild his career. Only, i have a niggling feeling Chelsea might be interested if they push out Enzo. I know he will hate the transfer policy but i bet he would think he could change that.

Think Chelsea will dump Enzo and he will go there.

He publicly belittled our club and ownership multiple times, and his approach and actions directly correlate with our relegation and current predicament. He was given power and resources far beyond his role and gutted our infrastructure and internal teams. He behaved here in exactly the same way- self serving, self preservation and toxic. No one in the media will mention us, even though he was the same. It should have been Top writing this statement several years ago. Instead, Top will probably make him DOF.

Club plays big salaries to Daka and Soumare. I presume there is big pressure on the manager to get a tune out of them. For a while Enzo got something out of Daka before he fell off a cliff, and Enzo had the luxury of being able to send Soumare (and VK) out on loan, which seems wasnt an option this time for whatever reason.. Its not Marti's fault they are still on the books, but i imagine he at the very least is expected to work with the resources he has before casting them off. You can see that Daka, Soumare and VK are clearly not fancied by Marti.

Makes me chuckle when this comes up. Last season we had a period of time where out first 2 choice keepers were injured. Do you remember who came on in the 2nd half against Newcastle when Mads twisted a bollok? You need 3 keepers.

Marti didnt buy these players. He's inherited them and has tried to get a tune out of them. Skipp and Soumare in particular should excel at this level, but they are both player like dog turds. Both have pretty much been dropped as well do you cant blame him for them. He clearly doesnt fancy Daka either. And Thomas has pretty much picked himself after we sold JJ and VK was injured (and shite too). He has no viable alternatives really, other than hoping the academy boys can pipe up. But even then we aren't getting anywhere with the kids for the time being.

I still think its really early, aleit underwhelming, days. Win the next 2 home games, and things might feel back on track. Unless you are nailing it, the Championship can be very streaky, as we found when we hit poor form under Enzo. I still don't expect Coventry to keep up their streak, and Middleborough are now 10th in the 6 game form guide.
