Because he ran them into the ground. You can’t excuse injuries when your approach causes them. This is the guys who continues a high line when left with 9 players who admitted after the game ‘it’s what we do’. The guys a fraud and a reason why he won’t manage an elite club. After he f@cks up at forest he will be done. Looking forward to his first dejected interview where he stares at the ground like the world is swallowing him up.

And got fired because they had one of their worst league campaigns in years.
-
Is he? He's had moderate success but never anywhere i would call elite. At Spurs he behaved like a petulant child at times. If i was a player and i saw his interviews and how he looked like he was on the verge a breakdown, i wouldn't find it inspiring - it always looked deeply concerning. Seeing how he setup against us, he's a complete liability of a manager when things aren't going his way. I've always felt a lot of people think he's good because he's a bit of a 'proper bloke'. Happy to have a go at fans and reporters - and all that.

I think most PL teams know how to play Ange anyway, unless he changes things.

He will get early results and they will play really exciting stuff. This will be lauded as a great appointment. But it won't take long for the cracks to appear, especially in the PL. He will run them to the ground and it will fall apart. It will be interesting to see if if changes it bit by bit as they've had no preseason, or if he just goes all in. He seems the sort to just say 'f**k it' and go for it.

Alves loaned to Huddersfield - Official
Chelmofox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'm not criticising Alves (if you see my posting history i would love nothing more for him to succeed, and one of my favourite memories was seeing him subbed on against Watford several years back in the FA Cup), Maybe this is more a situation of young adults not being fully mature enough to handle the real world ( i dont mean that in a derogatory fashion). Are you telling me there are no egos at Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Man U etc? The football world is full of egos. I know we hate ourselves right now, but we are not the only club with difficult characters, fans on the edge and managers who behave like sociopaths. Regardless of your workplace, environments and pressure can be tough. I'm 49 and had 6 jobs in my life. 2 i felt had toxic characters in prominent positions and those could make the working day difficult, but in both cases I still did the best job i thought i could and still look back at my time fondly. Alves hasn't had anything to compare to other than Cardiff (and now Huddersfield of course) and that was a team full of League 1 players faced with relegation. Great for a loan where If he wants to get to the top, he's going to have to learn to deal with the pressures of the workplace. It's not always pretty, and sometimes it takes characters like Marti to steady the ship. Its a part of bringing developmental talent through that really concerns me. Do 16 -> 20 year olds really know what they are getting involved with? -
Love the opposition playing just falling to the floor in a heap.

Alves loaned to Huddersfield - Official
Chelmofox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ill give this the benefit of the doubt of going through people second hand. But if true, its disappointing to read. Football is full of ego's everywhere from players to agents to certain brands of managers. Im sure we have our fair share - but it will be nothing like at the big six and top half PL. Cardiff would have been easier on this front simply because of the lack of any quality in that team. And they got relegated anyway. Alves should be aspiring to hit the top. That doesn't mean he should be one of the egos but hes got to appreciate they are going to be around. Its the first indication that he might not have the self belief of mentality ro reach beyond a certain level. Lets hope its more to do about just preferring actually getting playing time and egos not getting in the way of playing time, which i would completely understand no matter what. -
So everything else i wrote is entirely feasible?

Think you know what the poster is getting at..... This is his 2nd loan following an ACL. 1st loan was cut short and this was his first game on this loan, and one of which he hasn't been with that team a long time. Poster trying to make out Sammy is some effeminate dosser whos made a living being out on loan his whole career.
-
This is his second loan.

He always seems tidy to me. A little but like a young Harry Winks. However, he just seems to lack any urgency. I don't know if thats just me being harsh or if he is holding himself back.

The year is 2028. Farage has just taken to downing street after a hideous election campaign has seen him gain the largest majority ever seen. Trump is about to serve a 3rd term after Russia interference again (Russia is even more powerful now they own 2/3 of what used to be known as Ukraine). In the sport world, Jeremy Monga has left Man CIty to join Barcelona on a £250m deal. A big deal for Man City who secured Monga's services on a free transfer from King Power FC several years before. Of course, King Power FC now languish in the Southern League Premier Division Central league after Club Chairman (John Rudkin) developed an illness call 'player sales psychosis', selling the whole squad over 4 transfer windows but without buying a single player in. Doctors presumed this was a illness formed due to many years of overspend, and the inability to sell Dennis Praet to Torino over several windows. Meanwhile, I'm delighted to report the old fan site Foxes Talk still exists as a place where fans can discuss the now defunct club, and a quick trip there shows the fans are still mostly bothered if Harry Winks was supposed to stay at Nottingham Forest's training ground one day in 2025. Truly inspiring to see they are still really on the pulse about what matters.

Literally one of the worst places i have ever been to watch sport.

Wout Faes (Besiktas interest, Fabrizio Romano)
Chelmofox replied to jonny_wright's topic in Transfer Talk
It wa sh1te before that too. I don't pretend Wout caused any of this. The rot had long set in. He was in the dug out watching us get thumped 5-2 by brighton not long before that. You know - the master class where Ward started yelling at Ndidi. -

Nacho suffering from Stockholm syndrome. Someone once told me he was on anti depressants because of how Brendan used to treat him. I suppose if there is a league he’s going to rip up, SPL is likely to be it.
-
The money still gets paid into his bank account no matter what.
-
Last time I checked, we were in a different division.
-
Great lad. Can’t wait to see him rip up Cov at the KP.
