Bang on this. There is very little Charisma about him. I think his goal yesterday was the most animated i had seen him for a long time. I remember after he scored the winner against Southampton last season the interviewer comment about the 'ole ole' song. He had tears in his eyes. I don't think he has common levels of footballing arrogance about him.

I think a big part of the starting 11 has been dealing with some behind the scenes issues. I would expect we start to see more from Winks and Faes.

Im not sure the defenders are ready though, but i do agree. Jannik is too slow to recover and gets hammered on the transition (personally felt he was exposed a lot in the first half) and Okoli is a good defender but very nervy on the ball. I am presuming Faes gets back in the starting line up sometime soon, but i hope it's not with Jannik. No idea about Nelson though.

Fine margins in football with these decisions. If Ricardo gets sent off against Brum then he doesnt get the 2nd goal and Birmingham would have been full of confidence and all over us. If Fatawu gets sent off in his first game for us, it would have taken much more from him to become a club favourite. Both were worse tackles than Ramseys.

I slept on this. It's a terrible and almost offensive comment. Ward in total (just in money out) cost us about £20million - that before you factor in the the impact he had on the team, dragging as the the bottom of the PL. The 12m fee was meant to be one where he took over the number 1 spot from Kasper. A completely calamitous incompetent keeper at multiple levels. I literally broke a fight up between 2 leicester fans at the Wolves game where the 2 fans near me were arguing over how sh1t he was. Ward has the ability to destroy defenses, clubs, friendships and dreams. Jakub has come through the academy and this is the season where he turns from 2nd choice to a starter. He has had some outstanding games, but unsurprisingly has met challenges along the way as he learns on the job. He has just come off the back of 2 clean sheets, one of which (Charlton) was a match winning performance. Just look at what happened When Ward came back into the side last season, and then what happened when Jakub came in. It was like night and day. Everything fell apart around Ward. That game against Wolves was the most embarrassing performance i have seen from any Goalkeeper. Yesterday was a difficult game for him. The first goal I feel he should push the ball away further (he still made the save though) but his 2 CB's were ball watching and offered nothing. He made the save and also made himself look big on the rebound. No calamity here - just should have done better and his team mates were poor. The 2nd it only looks like a calamity because of the change of the direction of the ball from Soumare. He tried to reach out. Even if he stands still noone blames him for that. There is a lot of good to take from Jakubs game right now, as well as some great performances. He is actually comfortable with short passes (ironically - its Okoli that isn't. Throw Faes in there and Jakub will look a lot better). He commands the box well and on the whole is very positive dealing with set pieces. And he is a great shot stopper. The long balls thing - yeah not great, but even some top keepers have had to work on this before they find the right balance.

Off the back of 2 clean sheets. Won us the game against Charlton. He’s good with his feet short. Long is an issue but they can work on that. I thought his CBs were sh1t first half. First shot he should have put out for a corner ( a bit like I think his PL start last year) but his CBs were no where. 2nd was brain dead from Soumare. Other than that he was ok but not a great game from him. Presume there are pellets for him because he’s from the academy. Sad.

Fatawu limped off the previous game and he still needs looking after. Once the sending off happened i felt it wasn't the game for Monga anymore, so Bobby gets some minutes to see the game out. Page is recovering from an injury and will likely feature heavily the next few games. Nelson - i suppose he is behind Okoli / Faes and Jannik - so something needs to give as when picking the squad for this game we didnt need so many CB's.

A good statement would be to still be 6 points ahead of them. I think the coach needs time from here before we start demanding statement perfomances.

Disagree. Should appluad people for hitting some level of target. We are outperforming the other relegated teams, although it is early days.
