Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Bordersfox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yeah take your point but loads of clubs spend and sh1t load and end up nowhere. Partly recruitment issues at those clubs but it requires both manager and recruitment to be right for success and Newcastle seem to have got it largely right. -

One of the best managers currently operating in the league imo, along with Frank. Not fashionable, not popular but doing a fine job and, whilst they've spent, they've not absolutely splurged because of PSR. Totally out managed Arteta over two legs in the Cup. Of course, having Isaak helps. -
There is little better value in the whisky world than Bunnahabhain 12 for my money. Isle of Skye 8 (blend) is also excellent for the price. As an aside and not whisky, of course, I've just got this in. Never tried Rhum Agricole before. Something towards a Bourbon in character. Pretty nice.

'Sorry for late response' The last true professional on FT. -
He'll be doing his job, presenting numerous options for priority positions to senior people, including Rudkin. The negotiations and the buying will having nothing to do with him you'd imagine, perhaps beyond 'we've been pushed up on price, what's your view on that'? Whether or not he finds good players is moot. But the responsibility for buying nobody is absolutely not his. His job won't massively change whether we buy 5 or 0.

I want to see wholesale changes. Burn the whole b@stard thing down. The only regular players who look like they have given the remotest sh1t this season are Bilal, Soumare and Hermansen. Coulibaly, Coady, Okoli, VK (because we have no other option at LB, or maybe move Justin there). Soumare and Ndidi (or Skipp until Ndidi is fit) with Bilal, Facundo and Mavididi. Daka up top purely for some energy and pressing. Is this a good team? No it's pony. But we've just been slapped by a decimated Everton. So do something Ruud, even if it is to try and galvanise the squad and send a message that what we saw was unprofessional and unacceptable. If he picks Faes again then I am done with him. I can't take any more of his arm waving, head shaking, complete lack of responsibility taking bullshite..
-
I'd take you over Rudkin. Chat GPT could probably do a better job than this blundering oaf. And regardless of PSR there's been deals done on the cheap like Edwards to Burnley that we could have tried. To do next to fvck all, given we are neck deep in faeces, is absolutely staggering. Even by the standards of these cucks this is an absolute farce.

Ruud was clear there was money to spend in January when he joined. I specifically remember him saying in an early interview he'd asked the club about it. Yet more lies and excuses from the hierarchy. I'm absolutely fvcking sick to the back teeth of this club.
-
Glad you asked this because I have been wondering the same. Some of the other clubs doing business must be sailing as close to the wind as us. Maybe they've actually taken a decision to accept the risks of a points deduction or to try and recoup losses in the summer. We feel like we are drifting without a firm hand into oblivion.

Sorry, but I'm not convinced our Lord Jesus himself could keep a team with a CB partnership of Faes and Vestergaard in this league. -

I'll give Ruud the benefit of the doubt on this occasion, it does seem odd Enzo didn't tell him. However, any manager now coming in has had fair warning. You cannot believe a word of what is said about transfers. -

The club is really in a pickle this transfer window. To put it mildly. And yet again their own dithering incompetence has caused it. They should have gone all out to get four players in as quickly as possible, give Ruud the tools they promised and inject fresh belief into squad. Happy manager, reinvigorated dressing room. The best chance of survival. A risk but a calculated one. Now there is a real argument that we are in such a cluster fvck of a situation that we might as well spend nothing and be slightly less shafted financially when we go down. Particularly as we will absolutely be bent over on any deals this late on. The clubs own fvckwittery and Rudkin's pathetic sloth in getting things over the line now mean we are paralysed with no idea of whether to stick or twist. The level of incompetence, complacency and stupidity is breathtaking. -
Dislike him less. He's sh1t. But I think he knows it. He's like a sad clown that doesn't make anyone laugh. Pitiful. Faes on the other hand is an arrogant, whiny fvck who really believes he should be playing for a bigger and better club. You're w@nk mate. Just fvck off.

Is it just me or has Collomose ramped up his rhetoric since appearing on the BSLB pod? Has @Ric Flair been pouring poison into Tom's ear?

Patrick Wimmer - enquired about loan, Wolfsburg only want to sell

Not a gwimmer of hope this happens. Ban me now @Finnegan -
So true. I always find the McDonald's advert taking a swipe at 'fancy coffee' intensely irritating. Particularly given I know, without having to sully my precious lips, that their coffee will be scolding, watery bilge scum. It feeds in to that liberal elite bollocks, a sneering reverse snobbery. Fact is, a really good coffee is an entirely different beast from a really sh1t one. Sh1te includes Costa and Starbucks. In the same way a supermarket sandwich or a subway is basically a totally different product from something CURATED BY AN ARTISANAL BAKERY THERE I DID IT I ADMITTED I AM PART OF THE WOKERATI LIBERAL ELITE. The fact is, where I can and can afford it, I like to eat and drink nice things as opposed to utter rubbish. That includes coffee.

Are you insane? Mings getting stretchered off is precisely the opening Ruskin was waiting for. Deal time, haggletastic territory. Remember, with our current 'nursing home' transfer strategy, at just 31 Mings is one for the future and has many good years of rehabilitation at Seagrave ahead of him.
-
Duran is off isn't he? Medical shortly. Surely they don't sell Watkins as well.
-
And where the realisation you're not going to sign a rarely fit Lamptey is a crushing blow.
-
Weirdly if they win the Europa it'll be their best season for a long time despite that. That's what my Spurs mate is trying to tell me anyway
-
I'd hoped he had.
-
Oxlaide Chamberlain on deadline day? Horrific scenes.

For all those signings
