Maresca has literally just buggered off and we've barely entered the close season. Confidence in the club management may be low but I would be astounded if they are desperate at this stage. Wymsey you are becoming foxestalk #numberoneattentionseeker and you love it.

Agreed I haven't seen anything concrete either.

You have mispelled the word cvnt my friend.

What Scotch said seems to make sense, we have signed him up but cannot yet register him.

Can someone enlighten me on the difference between a cult hero and a legend? Anyone?

There's plenty of information available on him from the usual sources, YouTube etc, I think one video about him was posted on his thread in the transfer section of this forum. I'm no expert on him but he seems to offer the flexibility and pragmatism many on here have been howling for. His teams can play good, possesion based football with a high press meaning some continuity with what we had. However, he does set up to be difficult to break down and to attack on the counter when he thinks it's necessary. I think he tends to use a double pivot so something like a 4-2-3-1 formation. The wingbacks are important and WBA put in a lot of successful crosses last year. For me, from the little I've watched and read, be offers a bit of something for the purists and also those who want to see slightly quicker, more incisive forward play on transition. He has achieved this in difficult circumstances with a limited budget, which again may well suit our needs at the moment. He's young, he's ambitious. I'd be quite satisfied with his appointment over some of the tired, old, experienced manager names being bandied about.

To a degree I think it depends on how important our keepers ability on the ball is to a new manager as to whether we would replace Mads or look to use the money for other priorities. Stolarczyk certainly seems to be a very capable shot stopper.

I wonder how that works as aren't we still under an embargo until June when we technically become a PL? Or does it not preclude players with existing contracts at the club having then renewed?

Black Country Ales pubs have at least 4 different clashing patterns in each of their pubs, the carpet, upholstery, wallpaper curtains etc enough to give you a fxxking headache. Someone must have been necking acid when they put that little lot together. Their own beer is extremely dull as well. Some of their landlords do have decent guests and keep a good pint though.

Leicester give Chelsea permission to speak to Maresca. Will this be done by tomorrow?
-
Do you mean Nathan Jones, he's at Charlton and doing a decent job. Expect they'll be promoted next season.

I also get your point and it is a fair one. The poll was a knee jerk reaction. However, more broadly there have been a large and vocal number of fans with views which that poll does represent; in fact they didn't like Enzo or his football even when we were on a good run. Some of those same people now are weirdly indignant that he is talking to Chelsea. Even though we all know that's exactly what we'd all do in his situation if we weren't Leicester fans. It is a job. He is a professional. If he stays I expect him to give nothing less than his all until the point he does leave. So the OP point still stands imo. It's all faintly ridiculous, but worse there is a strong whiff of hypocrisy. Never thought I'd say this but bring back the relative sanity of the match day threads

@BrummieFOX how's your fried fried chicken adventure going? I made this tonight, Korean fried chicken burger. Gochujang honey sauce. Milk bun, American cheese and Asian Slaw - all homemade. Served with a side of more fried chicken 😅Best yet, Damn those Koreans have the Colonel on the run.

Hislop is a legend. Private Eye were first reporting on this sh1t show back in 2011 I think, certainly a good while ago anyway. I hope Hislop is right and that a new government will mean criminal prosecutions against the people who have destroyed the lives of innocent people - and tried to cover it up.

Cheers mate. I still have my fair share of ones that don't turn out well but dough disasters are less often now. What's the style in Rome, thin and crispy? Guessing you can get any style in Rome now to a ridiculous standard. I'm sure you'll be sampling some of the the Roman breweries as well my good man!

Here's a sourdough pizza, Nduja with a basil emulsion, I made last week. This is about as large as I can get them without starting to hit difficulties and I like the massive modern neapolitan crust. I reckon the more you stretch and practice the easier this should become, I am still very much learning. ²

Good crust expansion! I find this with most neapolitan pizza, sourdough and commerical yeasted, I go with a smallish dough ball, 230g and make about a 10inch Pizza. I've found any bigger and my stretching technique isn't good enough to stop it tearing. I also tend to do the first patting out type stretch and then if the gluten is feeling tight let it rest for ten before doing the next stretch. My preferred technique is to lift on my knuckles and rotate using the doughs weight to stretch it, seems to work quite well and much less skil needed than the Napoli slap. Still have to stretch on the peel as it will shrink back a bit.

Including, I fear, Rudkin.

Put your fxxking phone down you silly cxxt!

I am 500 odd points away from technically becoming a legend. However, whilst I haunt the forum like a sad ghost I rarely post much. What this means is that I either limp over the line by liking posts or, more probably, I achieve legend status around this time next year with another heavy drinking session combined with spamming the Eurovision thread. I can live with that.

What viewers were we trying to please? Those who don't know how to grout their bathroom or use jif?
