  1. I'm confused. Why are there fans still left in the stadium?
  2. Derby closing in on Blackett-Taylor. Very good player, a big loss for Charlton. Fvck off Derby.
  3. For a club like ours to thrive at the highest level we have to roll the dice sometimes with signings. Sensi isn't anywhere near us without his patchy injury record. He stays fit and rocks our tits off it's a Rudkin/Glover/Enzo masterstroke. He's injured most of the time it's an abomination of a signing. The reality is it's neither of those things - it's a calculated gamble, with the club accepting the risk of a sick note in exchange for picking up a player of genuine quality for peanuts. He's good enough, that isn't in doubt, and Enzo is clearly keen on him. I'm in. Personally just excited to see what he can do, if we get it over the line.
  4. What do you reckon, we've tipped them the wink that we aren't averse to a recall so we can get Sensi in and this is a bit of face saving for the lad?
  5. Think I posted a few things last year about the brewing industry generally and that the current combination of soaring energy costs, Brexit (North did a ton of export), increased finance costs, equipment and ingredient costs etc. etc is a perfect storm for the industry. Also a hugely over saturated market, particularly with people now having lower disposable income. So whilst I'm saddened I'm actually not that surprised. Although as you say, one of the bigger and more hyped breweries to go pop. There will be more before we get out the other end I'm afraid.
  6. One fvcking win. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-coventry-warwickshire-68006081.amp
  7. You'd hope Thomas on a possible permanent to Sunderland. You'd hope and pray Ward on loan anywhere.
  8. Will there be a pod incoming for Saturday's debacle lads @Ric Flair
  9. I cannot lie I've had one of the worst hangovers I've had in years today. I have resolved never to drink again. Absolutely rancid. I'm far too old for hangovers.
  10. I would suggest, with the greatest of respect, that the only person who has shat themselves is you.
  11. Early candidate for post of the year.
  12. Sensi for winks rotation (but could also occasionally play 8), an 8 and a versatile forward would be ideal I think. Someone who can play across the line. I am dreaming.
  13. Trust me mate I'm fvcking fuming. But I kinda get KDH reaction as a result.
  14. Make a comment that actually reflects what you're thinking. That's all I ask of our players. And we see it rarely enough. From many of your posts you strike me as the sort of bloke who doesn't like the sanitisation of modern football. Don't disagree overall. But then we can't really moan because KDH's comment isn't showing the 'right' sort of confidence and coming out with the tired 'spur us on' platitude. Today hurt. And it obviously hurt KDH. Good... I don't see sour grapes so much as a very angry young man who's determined to shut the Cov lot up by making sure we get promoted. All just different perspectives I guess.
  15. Please no comparisons to Brendan I beg you. However, I think he'll learn from this. He had a bad day at the office I agree. But it's never easy when you've got to play 45 with 10.
  16. You've been drinking heavily haven't you?* *Not that I disagree.
  17. Literally speaking he is.
  18. Passion. Mavididi celebration at Brum. Enzo encouraging players to go celebrate with fans after wins. Angry KDH. Even Fatawu with his ridiculous, impulsive, idiotic challenge today showed passion and physical commitment. Loads more examples I could reel off. I don't see games differently to you. I just don't think passion and physical commitment can necessarily be boiled down to running around a lot for 90mins. It can take different forms. I don't believe you can be top of any league without commited, passionate players.
  19. I'm sure the crystal meth works just as well.
  20. What rubbish. We've had a bad day. Calm down.
  21. I'm on my second whisky, beer seemed too weak an option this evening.
  22. It's always very difficult to judge players playing at a lower level and whether they can step up. All I can say is I was very impressed with Edwards. But Charlton have been largely terrible this season so not exactly his biggest test.
  23. Watched the game, their best player by a country mile today was Edwards. Fast, physical and cultured on the ball. EMC was a handful but for some reason I'm not convinced he's much more than a good championship winger. I may be proven wrong.
  24. Hang on one second I recall you saying a while back you'd had a great day because your wife gave you a hand job in the garden after you'd re-potted some plants. This doesn't sound like the Saturday afternoon of an oligarch.
