Interesting to see the difference in scrutiny/shit we've got for strength in depth this season vs Leeds . Leeds have kept hold of everyone but Rodrygo and Tyler Adams and spent +£5m. Leicester have spent minus £60m and lost players who are starting at Spurs, Newcastle, Fulham, Sevilla, Man Utd, Atletico, Villa, Bologna. Saints have spent minus £150m with basically a fire sale of talent but managed to build a consistent team out of old, young and new. There has to be a financial day of reckoning coming for Leeds

Leeds have played a blinder in the second half. sit deep and wait for them to overcommit. We could learn a thing or two from that.

Really enjoying watching other championship teams play. It's weird isn't it.

Amazing game. I think we will get beat here as WBA have a lot to fight for and players with points to prove as they are coming in for injuries suspensions. The season has followed a really easy to spot pattern New Style of play. Not bedded in but we are less shit than the opposition in forward positions. Confidence grows - still playing sides for the first time. Hull, Boro figure us out Everyone piles in when they play us the second time. Deploying the low block and break down the flanks / set pieces. We do nothing to change our approach to surprise the opposition either in formation, style or personnel. Breakdown of the season is below, but its super plain. We haven't been undone by injuries or luck, we have been full on found out and haven't got the management / structure in place to do owt about it. August: Coventry. dominated by them for large periods and scored two late goals, could easily have lost or drawn Huddersfield. Scrappy. Their goalie threw one in the net Cardiff. Laboured, didn't look like a win until a last minute winner Rotherham. Laboured again. Very slow football Hull. Did a number on us hich others would later copy Southampton. Let's have it straight. a 4-1 win, but they missed 3 ABSOLUTE sitters and then gifted us 2 goals which set us up for the win. Norwich - good performance. Bristol City. laboured. Everyone saying 'trust in the process' the football won't stink so much soon. Blackburn. Again they had more shots and chances than us, but we converted. Sept /Oct: Some improved performances when we were still playing sides for the first time and confidence was growing. Teams weren't playing full block and hadn't figured our style out. Nov/ Dec: The 'project' gets undermined by first string of poor results / Doyle injury and first whispers of financial shitstorm. Leeds, Middlesborough follow the Hull model and nullify us before grabbing a goal. Dec/Jan: Millwall, Birmingham, Cov and Millwall again start to expose our defensive weakness down the flanks and the mask slips from Faes and Vesty a little bit. This is the sort of thing other teams learn from quickly and pass on. We fail to sign Sensi in the window and Casadei leaves along with our AFCOn players being out / suspended or injured. We concede two very late injury time equalisers to Ipswich side who we have dominated but not finished off. Failure to concentrate in last 30mins then becomes a theme that comes back. Feb-April. Some great performances to beat Brum, Swansea and Stoke towards end of Jan but then Feb we start the return fixtures swing of the season and the wheels come off because the opposition have all fully worked us out. Boro, Leeds, QPR, Hull, Bristol City, Millwall, Plymouth all ride out a period of possession dominance from us and then hit us on the counter attack. 6 defeats in 2 months, 3 wins and a draw. Prediction.

The question is more. Do we think its a good thing for us to gey promoted? We have to sell 5 or 6 before we start We will be 6-10 points down before we start We will need to pay higher wages again to existing players and new signings. I think we should stay down and seek new owners and build again around a core of players to take the club forward. Hermansen Coady Nelson Justin Ricardo Winks Fatawu Mavididi KDH Albrighton Cannon Drop Faes & Vestergaard. They are lik hear no evil, see no evil, but with regards to pressing and chasing. Their inability to cope with fast breaks is ****ing us. Bring Mavididi into the inside right channel. He tracks back and he can do all the things Ndidi can't do ie quick 1-2's and crossing/shooting with his right foot. Albrighton in on the left. For those with a memory this is the position he played effectively when we won the premier league. Why is he the only winger who has been uninverted having been one of the most potent examples of it through the best part of his career! Get him in + he has a point to prove v West Brom. Cannon in for first 60 with Vardy for last 30. Subs: Praet can come on for Albrighton and Mavi back out to the left in the second half. Akgun can come on for Fatawu if needs be. Vestegaard if we need to put our foot on the ball at some point.

We don't play a right back. We constantly concede goals from breaks down the oppositions left. It's not just Faes. Teams know to leave their left winger up.

Takes up bizarre positions and hardly ever feeds the striker. Mavididi - skilful and gritty but isn't even on his own wavelength so don't know how he expects anyone else to be. Fatawu - overused, misused. A really good player in there. But not one that will be playing Leicester next season. Ndidi - looks 45 Vardy - is 45 Daka - get me a Colt 45 Iheanacho - who? Cannon - no ball Praet - looks like an actor forced to go back to Eastenders after his big itv deal went sour after 5 flops. Albrighton. A great 30 mins v Huddersfield so let's never ever use him again Coady - £10m on an England player then never play him even when we are wank. Doyle - looks about 14.5 stone since his injury. We spent the first half of the season saying 'when will it kick in, we are winning but are shit'. We are still shit, but aren't winning. Our right back is playing up front is why we keep conceding goals from the oppositions inside left channel just FYI.... it ain't rocket science
