Josh Brownhill's estimated weekly salary at Burnley is £45,000, which equates to £2,340,000 annually. This makes him the highest-paid player in the Burnley squad, according to estimates. His salary is reportedly £5,000 more per week than his midfield teammate Josh Cullen. Wonder what that means for us. He'll be better value than Skipp I suppose!

Fxxk me, I can see why we bought Coady now and gave him a stupidly over the top contract. What is it about him that has you guys saying you'd rather keep him than Faes and Vestegaard? You really have bought into the same shit that has seen him steal a living since Wolves. He couldn't even break the first team under Maresca over the other pair. Enzo preferred the shit twins. And he was right to. Then we got Cooper, who also preferred not to play him. And his first contribution this season was to prevent us getting our first win of the season by fxxking us over in 3 minutes against Palace. He's wank. Absolute fxxking wank. That's not to say that the other pair are good. They're all shit, but 2 of them kept this cxnt out of the side. He speaks well. Fxxking brilliant. Extend his contract. He's a real leader. Great example. Wasn't he trying to get a move to Wolves in January? And now he wants Rangers. "You sign up for life as a professional footballer and that means when things go bad, you have to bounce back, you have to show yourself even more. Things are going really bad right now and we are not enjoying it. It is not something that any of us want. "But when it happens, what are you going to do? Are you going to hide and not be a part of it? Or are you going to stand up and be counted? Do not look at your own situation. Look at the football club and where you can help put it come the summer. "Because this club is in a situation it should not be in." Fxxk off.

Brownhill makes no sense. There's no way he chooses us over Burnley unless we offer him more money or a longer contract than the clarets are, and that's the kind of shit we want to move away from, so why would he join us? Dolan for free makes sense as competition/cover for a couple of positions. Obi also makes no sense. He's a young lad that needs playing time. We have our own young lads that need playing time in the forward positions, but we'll get to reap the benefits of their progress. We won't if Obi comes with no option. Pointless. Actually detrimental.

Alright Moore, fuxake, this ain't a match thread... Give someone else a chance!

I think the majority of players they have the right side of 30 were either loans or shit. They've got a left winger from PSG, Gassama, who scored a few.
-
We've been bigging up Rohl for keeping a bunch of League one standard players in the division. Naturally we want the lot.
-
I think Marseille get first dibs on cut price sex offenders.
-
Gotta be total horse shit based on expectations of a Dyche appointment.

A 12 point deduction would have seen us comfortably finish in the play off spots last time round. You'd need to more than double that in order for us to have finished 7th and miss out on the playoffs, so maybe overdoing the doom mongering a little bit there.

Just tell Rudders and co that we can get Alli in and they'll think they can complete the set of Spurs midfield rejects. He's as good as signed then. Might cost us 30mill then though...

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

But if we get it done in a timely manner we might have the time and funds to buy Bednarek and Smallbone. Fingers crossed. -

Bollocks. -
Louie Barry with a decent figure on loan to buy would be fine. Can play a few positions. If Stephy does go it'd be well worth enquiring as he can cover/compete for the front line. Wouldn't be buying him outright though.
-
They've literally just agreed to pay more than that for Quansah.

Well they're rolling in it, so pay the piper. -
Precisely. Bargain it ain't.

Bargain fee?

I've just had a look back at his transfer history at Burnley. Christ! The most flair he got was a window in which Burnley signed Maxwell Cornet for the left wing and 34 year old Aaron Lennon for the right! Their 20/21 windows were hideous, on a level even we've not sunk to at our worst.

At one end of the pitch he's a pro, because our defence has been utter shit for a number of years now and he can at least get the defenders functioning properly. At the interesting end of the pitch, major cons. It might have been sour grapes but DCL was pretty critical of their relentless defensive training and not working on the attack. On an optimistic note we should be better defensively and from set pieces at both ends of the pitch. So in terms of the defensive players, he could be a positive appointment. He should get improvements out of Nelson, Okoli and Souttar. Fullbacks who knows. Depends what he'd task them with. At the other end of the pitch, the end where we have a lot of young, exciting prospects, there's a massive worry about how he would utilise them. He's never been much for exciting wingers, players who can take on and beat a man, and that's what we all want to see, but he might not. The thing with Dyche is he's never really been given much to work with budget wise, so it's always been difficult to tell if you could get more out of him if he was able to buy a better level of player. Now we don't really have that either at the moment, but he will already have a squad with superior players talent wise to the majority of the division. If it is to be Dyche I'd really hope that he's been given the task of not only getting us back up but to make as much use of our young players as possible, to the point of it being a condition of his appointment.

No harm if there's a loan with obligation should certain criteria be met, same as we had with Fatawu and Yunus. Would prefer terms based on appearances so we have more control over triggering it. The fee being touted last season though was total bollocks, and would need to be much more reasonable. I can accept the idea he may have just had a shite season or he's got more to his game than goalscoring, but I wouldn't want us paying out for him before we've seen it firsthand. I'd apply that to any striker we're interested in though if it's possibly going to be big money (for the level).
-
Well Delap specifically isn't going to be available, so who is the next Man City, Chelsea, Premier League Yoof that we can chance on? George at Chelsea probably. Strikers are getting a rarer and rarer commodity, can't see us getting a loan from any top clubs that's going to be worth it for us. If George for example showed anything we wouldn't be able to secure him for anywhere near reasonable money, if at all. Gotta look abroad imo.

His record at Champ level was a goal every 156 minutes. A goal or assist every 91 minutes. It's a pretty good record to be fair.

Stephy Mavididi (no real rumour, some clubs "interested.")

Rodgers said we wanted to sign him but didn't have the funds. -
Maybe Rohls buyout gets cheaper on July 1st to... Maybe.
