And loan him to us?
-
Why's he leaving? He's still got another year on his contract.
-
Pennywise had a rough night!
-
Tbf the name is clearly 19 years old.

I'm going to make up a transfer rumour about Mujica. Who's with me?
-
Let's have Rosenior...
-
So a few years of him being absolute shit, a few different managers not geting anything out of him ending with a decent spell for half a season. Let's hope we can carry him for a couple of years and still stay in the division.

He's not a £20mill player. Moving on.

Claudio Ranieri retires from football management

Shame. Poch has just left Chelsea, Claudio could have returned and then sanctioned the loans of all their best players to us. Alas... -
Why is he being allowed to leave?
-
-
It's ok, he can wear a bib in training.
-
Matip is leaving so I doubt you'll see Quansah out the door.

They've finished 2nd in the last 2 seasons... -
No problem with Sessegnon on a free if he wasn't an imposter. Rumour has it the real Ryan Sessegnon was killed in a freak snowboarding accident in Honolulu and his little known twin brother Steve took up the mantle to carry on his brothers legacy and improve on his own career., with their older brother Chris taking over Steves career resulting in a move to Wigan. Due to Steves limitations as a footballer he's decided it's best to be injured for at least 90% of matches in order to reduce focus on him and exposing this whole facade. So it's a yes from me.

His value has dropped off a cliff and with Doyle going back to Man City, no news on Vestys future and rumoured interest in Coady, he moves up the pecking order without doing a thing. We can't do anything with him until we know what we're doing with others and I don't think we're in a position where we're going to have to beat away suitors with a rusty mallet unless some Saudi prince has a hard on for out of place Australians, but then he could just buy a copy of Crocodile Dundee. That's not a knife.
-
If he's currently costing us fxxk all there's no reason to sell unless we get offered over his value. Which is currently difficult to determine but given we'd need to find an alternative that becomes a factor in his price. I can't really see anyone offering substantial enough a fee to make it worth our while or his tbh. What do we think his market value is?

Heaven? -
Out of context alert!

He's cheap and English. PL sides can afford to take the risk he comes in and comes good, the downside is a very small financial loss in the case you can't offload him at any point. Risk vs reward.

I just don't see anybody spunking £40mill on a keeper untested at the level. Next year maybe, this year, no. And £40mill? That'd make him the 3rd most expensive keeper in history. Let's hope that's the case if he does go.

Mads is comfortable on the ball but he hasn't proven himself at the top level yet where he'll be under more pressure more often and have to make better decisions quicker. It's also far less with how good you think Mads is and more about the other clubs need and finances to make a move for an unproven goalkeeper, which is what he is. Raya has won the golden glove and was taken on loan to buy purely to make it look better on the accounts. And Arsenal are apparently ready to move on Ramsdale, who Newcastle are interested in because Pope is made of Ryvita and Howe has worked with Ramsdale before. Chelsea have Petrovic and Sanchez to compete for their number 1 spot with the formers injury the reason for Petrovic being able to showcase himself. I don't think in that situation they just throw them both out and bring in a keeper with no top flight credentials. Besides, they're currently spunking their money on Brazilians so they won't have anything left for a keeper. Then you work your way down the teams in the league and there doesn't seem any apparent need for a keeper until you get to the likes of Forest. So when I said who would be in for him realistically, I wasn't asking who do you think has a keeper that Mads is better than. That's a different thing. He needs to be better than their option, THEY need to believe he's better and they need to have the finances to prioritise that particular transfer over others, AS WELL as make it worth our while, and given the financial state of clubs at the moment I think that's a very small number of clubs with a low likelihood of it happening. This is all assuming that we're talking about him moving for a number 1 berth. I actually think the biggest danger could be if Man City let Ortega go. Being a number 2 isn't that appealing but number 2 at a club that get a lot of games, pay a lot of money, win a lot of titles as understudy to a keeper that's had a decent number of injury problems this season and has a couple of years left on his contract, might be the biggest danger for us.

If he's getting a decent offer from Saudi and he's ok with the idea of playing out there he should go for it. In terms of competitive football, he's not likely to win much with any club that'll be interested, so go for the payday.

Having seen nothing of the lad, not wanting to write him off, but less than 600 minutes of football in the Bundesliga 2 registering a solitary goal and a couple of assists, on paper doesn't look particularly exciting or impressive. Also positionally doesn't seem an ideal fit for Enzos system.

He'd be out by November.
