  1. Will we be playing a high line?
  2. Given the player profile that we're going to be linked with this summer I'd say taking him into the fold is surely a good thing. If this were his first stint with us I think we'd all be pretty pleased with an ever present from a club that got CL qualification. Established, fully integrated players looked like shit in our relegation season, so it's a little harsh to judge him on a half season during a crap period under a manager who wanted out. There's literally no harm in using him this season even if he's shit. Some people are arguing that it decreases his value, but given that he's just helped a side get CL footy and they still don't want to pay an agreed fee, then I don't think it hurts his value at all. We're not recouping the fee on him because we pay Premier league prices and nobody outside of the Premier League is going to do that.
  3. If you play him as a CDM, where do you pop Winks? 8? 2 6's?
  4. We're unlikely to be able to buy anybody that has been making any waves in the game because it doesn't look like we can spend anything. Just find some really obscure players that nobody has ever heard of. Then buy their younger brother. That's about where we're at.
  5. If they're good enough, they're old enough, as the old adage goes.
  6. "You'll miss me when I'm gone" I think.
  7. They could be electric.
  8. Let's have words with the Iceland gaffer!
  9. Example... (Tanganga?)
  10. Can we get him roided up a bit?
  11. Tied down one of last seasons stand out performers. Doesn't get much better than this does it lads?
  12. I can do more detail. He's total shit.
  13. Only if, as others have said, the sale gets us out of the shit. There's no onus on us to sell if it means doing it on the cheap and in turn still falling foul of PSR.
  14. He's shit.
  15. We gambled on one from the 2nd tier of Italian football!
  16. There is no fxxking way Chelsea are gonna offer 40mill for him. So that's that. I have spoken.
  17. There's a distinct possibility we finish on 0 points so you might be in luck.
  18. Because you'd like him on your hot dog?
  19. Potters Brighton generally created a lot of chances, usually outdoing their opponents. Their conversion was shite though. But that was largely seen as an issue with the quality of player he had up front. Didn't seem to change at Chelsea though and De Zerbi got them scoring on the regular especially in the earlier stages... I wouldn't say Potter played boring sideways football though, but there are question marks about how he handles the strikers. But then, he's never really had a decent striker, even at Chelsea.
  20. 100% bullshit surely.
  21. No but he's probably looking at the current options available and feeling this could be a great chance for him. That's not arrogance. There's probably a lack of potential applicants that are both deemed good enough and would be interested themselves. You've got someone like Poch out of work, but firstly he probably backs himself to get a high profile job somewhere plus the possibility that he doesn't want to move into the International scene yet, as with many other potential candidates.
  22. What you say about Chelsea fans hating Sarriball is true though. And oddly enough, the man himself seemed to hate it at times. Some on here seem to be happy with the idea of Sarriball but hammer Enzo for his possession based game. Sarriball worked exactly the same way. Sarri at Chelsea often got very frustrated with his players because although he does believe in possession, he also likes the ball to move very quickly from the back to the front, and when Chelsea players weren't doing it and were just keeping hold of the ball he got proper pissed. But that's his philosophy when the players aren't quick enough and in the Premier League, perhaps you just can't be that quick with it?
  23. Well they would just be RB Leeds. Which is R Bleeds. Which is dangerously close to Arse Bleeds. Just a thought.
  24. Well, his contracts up. So his wishes might be completely irrelevant.
