Top managers always speak of the whole squad contributing to a good season, and these two have proven that. They don’t set it alight when they start, but both have now made telling contributions, work hard and will be good pro’s in the dressing room. These players are what we’ve missed in previous seasons

Actually didn’t think we were as bad as usual when defending, thought we’d improved as a team. Stupid mistakes are still here though. Don’t understand how people are still hating on this guy. Underated and overheated. Works so unbelievably hard each game for the club, selfless player, defensively he’s top. He takes it on his chest like Zidane, carry’s It up the pitch well and doesn’t go for glory like others. I can only remember him having two shots and they’re both screamers. Do anything to make this permanent. The way Brighton is run i do think they’d sell if we offered a good fee as he doesn’t fit their system. Another point, Coopers preference for Prem proven players was uninspiring and boring, but most have hit the ground running and look confident and we needed that. Compare that to the ‘young and hungry’ approach of the three promoted sides of last season, and the two of this. I do think Cooper has got that right. Not saying at all that that is the way to go moving forward, we need a balance, but so far it’s worked.

Just needs to get used to the speed of the league, plays things a bit to slow at the moment but the quality is there it’s obvious.
