Last time was one of the best away days of the season -
How does this team do in the Championship?

No I agree i don’t think we will piss it next season, players will go and the squad will change, it’s impossible to know. I only said we’d walk it as the original post asks how we’d do with this exact squad. And players like Facundo and Bilal are quality in this league, they would be simply outrageous in the Championship. KDH was a sorry excuse for a footballer the season we were relegated, and then was the main man. Bouba does my head in, but I think he’d be a real class above in that devision. Last time Winks played as a single pivot out of possession and we were hardly exposed and he can’t defend. The difference in devisions is so vast, these plays have enough there. I agree with your post tho, that’s also how I’d like the squad to be built. I don’t know why we stopped signing some of the best young players in the championship but I always think they’re a worthy gamble and I’d love to see us get a few, usually always hungry and we really lack that. -

Go to nearly all home and away, and I am sadly going to West Ham aha. You are completely right, we’re simply awful and have regressed to become the worst team in the league as the seasons gone on. But the level of the prem this season is the highest I’ve ever seen it, it’s quality. A decent manager with the below line up would win the championship Mads Ricardo, Faes, Okoli, VK Ndidi Winks Fatawu, Bilal, Mavididi Vardy Dont forget you’ve got Facundo coming off the bench. He has no right being in our squad let alone that league. I hate this side so much, but it walks the championship -

Walk it, if anyone here watches Championship football this year, you’ll see the league is utter dross. Last season was one of the most competitive of all time and we won it. Not saying we’ll do that next season, but this squad currently, Fatawu fit, would piss the league -
Would we not have to pay the remaining wages for the rest of his contract ? Surely at least 3 million
-
We can’t afford to sack him he’s staying
-
Doesn't start as he plays hot potato with the ball but we’re going down with Faes and Vestergaard at the back and he’s a better defender than both so he needs a run
-
Can’t wait for the fourth
-
Nah not having that at all
-
Faes is our best defender (still s***)

Slight off topic, but I’ve just watched the highlights of - PSV 2nd leg, 2022, 1-2 -United (h) 2021, 3-1 FA cup on the way to winning at Wembley - Shef United, 2021, 5-0 when Kelly got three on Mothers Day and dedicated it to his late mother. - Arsenal, 2019, 2-0, Vardy and Madders under the lights in the rain - Arsenal 2020, 0-1 when Under squares it to Vardy and we nick a ****house - Palace (a) 0-1, 2016, When we all stayed behind signing until we were kicked out It’s made me incredibly depressed but amazing memories.
-
I’ve had enough of this I’m ****ing done for a while
-
Ayew masterclass, 0-0
-
Recon we just couldn’t shift him, nobody in Italy is paying 12 million in January
-
I’d love nothing more, but besides him hitting the bar against Moscow at home, I’ve never seen him have a decent shot aha
-
Was told Rudkin really wants a Jon in the team so makes sense
-
Looks like a lot of clubs are playing it very similarly to us, the window is going to be manic during the last few days
-
Well excited for these five players
-
I’d assume he’d come in to play that withdrawn striker roll that Daka plays when he comes with Vardy still up top. It would suit his qualities but it’s pretty uninspiring. I’d only get behind it if it was a loan, or if it was 5 million odd.

Wouldn’t look out of place in a crèche or on Casualty

Cases of successful recovery’s regarding form for explosive players are much smaller. Hopefully he’s an outlier but off the mark he won’t be as quick. Thankfully he has a good right and left foot and can play. If he’s willing to put the work in to adapt his game after this he’ll be fine. Ronaldo had to completely change his game after his knee injury at 29, but did it successfully. Tough example but if he works hard he’ll do it
-
Somebody has to keep Ricardo company
-
-
Hope Madders drops a stinker and for old times sake and plays Vardy in just as he did to Billing, only fair
