  1. We have had 11 league games going back to Sheffield United on New Year’s Day. 1 win in that time (10 games ago) and we have conceded 2 (or more in the case of Southampton) in 8 of those 11 games and 1 in the other 3. How are we possibly going to pick up results? We’re done…
  2. Forget even sustainable. I’ve been saying for ages, we will 100% not even participate in the PL ever again under Aiyawatt/KP’s ownership. I’d go a step further and say we will not even manage to finish in the top 6 (or as I see in the Championship thread to be top 8) of the Championship again with them.
  3. I bet that offer has been embraced and jumped upon
  4. Similar story as with Rowett. Acting without a plan and without thinking. Delusional as to where we are and what candidates we could attract.
  5. Fair enough. Which bit do you think is wrong? The role other clubs could play, the player getting a say or both? If everything is locked in, it’s usually be an obligation.
  6. Yep, I mentioned this today on one thread or another and used the same wording, rewriting of history. People forget (or rather they didn’t actually support us then) that we had well and truly halted the slide from 2002-2009 with the promotion and subsequent 5th place finish under Pearson on our first season back. They then get rid of Pearson, back to back midtable finishes whilst spending big on average players were poor attitudes (sounds familiar right). Then of course, Pearson comes back, brings the wage bill back down and fill the squad with the right characters and we go up. As far as I’m concerned, KP, Vichai and Aiyawatt, delayed our promotion by about 2 years.
  7. Yep, I’m KP out, 33, good job, 10 years into paying off my mortgage and have a child. Also started going to games at the time of administration, say the crap 00’s years and relegation to L1 and was among crowds of around 7,000 in early FA cup round games against Stevenage and Dagenham, went to the JPT exit to Rotherham at the Don Valley stadium and various away games in small crowds. But yeah my opinion is wrong….
  8. The age discrimination is a myth being pedalled by the KP lot to try and discredit the opinion of those wanting change. It is a fact that most of us on here that have been calling for change have been around for League 1 before, the prior decline and administration and even further back. This ‘only been around since 2016’ is completely bollocks from people who have nothing of substance to credit their blind loyalty to a man destroying our club. In fact, it is far more likely that the loyal supporters of us who endured the 00’s are the ones who want change as we know how bad it can get. I’d wager that most of the KP loving lot are the type who crawled out the woodwork circa 2016 (a bit before as attendances rose upon promotion). They have only ever known KP and therefore think the club is KP as they have no idea of our proud history before. You can tell this by the amount of times 50 years gets thrown out as a standard length of time they have supposedly supported the club.
  9. Yeah so to be clear, my hope is that we can be bought out of administration when it comes, like Bolton and Portsmouth. But surely Rangers is a phoenix club? What is the difference otherwise? They are also a bigger draw in their relative league system than we are. I just see it as either being bought out of administration with our current history or the club goes bust and another starts somewhere down the non-league pyramid.
  10. Why do you think that a phoenix club wouldn’t be allowed? It’s usually what happens when a club goes completely out of business. The FC United of Manchester one is an outlier being a protest club to an existing club. But I am thinking more Bolton/Portsmouth. Neither left the football league, kept their history and got new ownership and are at least positive for their future.
  11. I think at this point, administration and a new owner coming in and starting again even if it was in say, League 2 is a positive outcome if that is what happens. We are now at a point that it is all about just having the club to support still, ideally in the EFL as opposed to a phoenix club having to start in the regional leagues and losing the clubs history.
  12. They are already on the wrong side of history Katy. It is more the the propaganda they put out to try and shield KP from taking responsibility but fortunately the wider football community is cottoning on. Amazing how it’s only some of our own fans who refuse to see it…
  13. It’s like if you were told you needed surgery to address a condition that will eventually kill you. You are told it has a 95% chance of success and recovery or 5% that the surgery could kill you. Do you not take the 95% chance because the 5% chance could do to you what the long term reality is anyway? Thats how I see it. The current ownership is so bad. Yes, they may be someone worse out there but the chance is now much smaller based on the current reality. I do actually think we are going to have to fall further. I ultimately want my club still here at the end of it but ever new low will surely have to close the door on some of the excuses being made for them. But sadly, many will always have a retort even if they are having to rewrite history to defend their leader. Rewritten history such as League 1 being someone we have been for more than 1 years of our 142 year history. Or the rewritten history that KP saved us from administration (9 years after when they joined) or we’d have never got to the PL without them (Pearson was doing a fine job of getting us there before they interfered in the first place).
  14. I shouldn’t do it to myself (look at the FB pages) but it is embarrassing. How can people who literally say ‘we were nothing before KP’ claim to be Leicester City fans? There was 126 years of history before they turned up. It’s disrespectful and people saying that can only have been following us since KP took over or you wouldn’t think/say it. Literally someone else saying think what situation our hospitals would be in if it wasn’t for KP ! Yeah, I forgot that no other town/city in the UK that doesn’t have KP owning their football club doesn’t have a hospital
  15. Your last line is very very important. I have said it before but it is a really dangerous place we are in where many of the supporters are putting one man as more important than the club and it’s 142 history. Owners are custodians. Like managers and players, they need to be accountable and because too many are KP over LC, he has become bigger and more important than the club. They’d rather see the club fail with him than succeed without. We need to break this. Even if the next owner is terrible, at least we’d have purged the fanbase, broken the cult and be able to move forward.
  16. All these KPFC FB cult followers. One trait I notice is that in most cases, the initial post is made and then no reply or follow up once replied to. Others might know more about use of bots on social media but it does have me seriously questioning that a lot of these are club bots rather than genuine people. Clearly there’s a lot of the latter as well but maybe not all the time…
  17. Terrible today. Getting pulled out of position constantly, can’t stop balls in behind him and can’t recover. They should have had at least a couple from that side but for their lack of quality in the final ball. Sadly looking forward to seeing the back of him in the summer.
  18. Shocking again. After Middlesbrough he still doesn’t learn. That moment when he just stood on the ball and got dispossessed!
  19. Was ok to a point but again, the second goal down his side and where is he? For probably an hour or so it was Ricardo who was testing my heart rate getting pulled everywhere and looking massively out his depth but that second was awful…
  20. For as bad as he is and has been, on Tuesday was the best I have seen him for some time. Just in terms of being defensively solid, dealing with crosses and not doing anything stupid. It’s a low bar but we don’t have any other left backs and he’s not going anywhere before the end of the season. Ricardo has been equally as bad so if Aluko comes in, I’d rather see him on his preferred side. It could genuinely be that Rowett is the right manager to get something out of him.
  21. Ultimately it’s just two different ways of destroying a football club. Our current ownership is probably in the top 5% worst ownership you could have. There’s statistically much more chance of improving.
  22. Remember Stan, this is our natural level. This is the Leicester all these. people who have supported us for exactly 50 years have always seen
  23. I do genuinely think there are a lot of bots in there. Otherwise a noisy minority (in terms of those who genuinely have devotion to ‘the family/cult’. Unfortunately a lot of people are just anti-protest even if they would agree with the principle of they engage their brains to think about it. Also this BS about it meaning you can’t also back the team even though both are clearly possible.
  24. Literally…the back the badge/lads is one line, an afterthought at the end of a poster all about the devotion to ‘the family’…. Cringy, embarrassing and full on cult behaviour!
  25. 3 years on his contract so a decent fee (doubt we will be paying out transfer fees) and Lyon and Frankfurt interested. Would suggest this is a non starter.
