  1. Based on the fact our form over the last month has been significantly worse than over the season as a whole and the last 16 games that I quoted. So it’s more likely we won’t even win that many. We have been operating as a one man team in Jordan James for most of this season. Any coincidence that the minute he was out we fall to home defeats to Oxford and Charlton?
  2. In the 30 games to now, we have 10 wins. Best case scenario based on the season as a whole is say 5 more wins that would be 47 points, plus any draws we could get. In the last 16 games, we have 20 points which replicated in this last 16 would be 52. That run includes our best little runs we have had, back to back wins over Norwich and Stoke and the little unbeaten week we had in December. Our more recent form this last month (4 points in 6 and 4 defeats) is more concerning. With Wednesday getting beaten every week and the league being quite tight otherwise, this is likely to push a higher total for 21st place, particularly if Oxford also continue to fall away. Anybody who doesn’t think we are in serious bother and parrots the ‘we’ll be fine’ line clearly hasn’t learned anything from 3 years ago. Unfortunately you can tell this is the attitude of Aiyawatt and the club as a whole including the players.
  3. He does write well and knowledgeably about us. More knowledgable than most of our fan base to be fair. This bit made me smile ‘Either way, Top and Rudkin are lucky that governing bodies cannot issue penalties for the under-performance of senior figures. If they could, Leicester would probably be in non-league by now.’
  4. What I find interesting is, a few years ago there were criticisms of the players having too much power etc. Now those players have moved on, we can see how incompetent Aiyawatt and Rudkin are. It actually looks more like it was the players keeping things afloat more than on the pitch. Really the warning signs have been there for a long while now and it’s amazing how many people still can’t/refuse to see it.
  5. Oh like we were fine in 22/23 with the players we had?
  6. How can you say the deduction has no impact on us with 16 games left to go? Just because it’s left us out of the relegation places on GD now, does mean that is going to stay the case. We are awful, a one man team who is now out injured. If they were doing as you say, with us in free fall on the pitch, they’d have waited until later in the season or the end of the season.
  7. It’s obvious that James was carrying us. We have so little without him and it was no surprise that the minute he was out injured we conspire to lose back to back home games against relegation rivals. Do I think we can win 6 games without Jordan James? Absolutely not.
  8. I think minor credit is accurate. There seems to be accounts that the Birch was responsible for Pearson coming back. Best case they realised we were onto a good thing that they cut short and retuned to the obvious. No strategy or deep thinking involved. And they continued to be the case even Vichai. Never a strategic approach that was club led. Whereas this fall from grace, and the humiliating situation we find ourselves in, to anyone with any sense is entirely down to awful and incompetent management of the club. If you place an axis for positive contributions to the success, as a direct result of the actions of the ownership and another of the negative contributions to the current plight, as a result of the actions of the ownership, which one is higher? And it isn’t even close….
  9. Odd take. We have just been here before. ’It’ll be fine’ ’We’re too good to go down’ Its frustrating to see the club and fans alike are incapable of learning from that past arrogance and showing the humility that might be needed to get out of this!
  10. Absolute waffle complete with give away ChatGPT dash! We aren’t asking for special treatment but we are Leicester so shouldn’t get punished
  11. Na. People make out like Aiyawatt won the golden boot and Vichai was there keeping clean sheets. They recited a mistake made that meant the right people set the club up for success. Success structures have never been at club level like a Brighton where it is driven by the owner. It was always driven by a particular manager we had.
  12. They didn’t win us anything. They have directly caused this humiliation we now have hanging over the club.
  13. Can’t believe the arrogant, head in the sands attitude from those saying we are too good to go down! Seriously, what have you been watching all season? We were a one man team (James) and he’s out for who knows how long. Cifuentes was crap but nobody we will get in is going to improve us enough to keep us up from here with the squad we have an the incompetent owner/board.
  14. I can’t see any of the teams above us now being dragged in. They have enough points given none of them are under threat of a deduction to be safe. Of those below, Wednesday are gone and Oxford are likely leaving the final spot. Norwich will easily be ahead of us so it looks like one of; Us Charlton Portsmouth Blackburn West Brom I think Portsmouth and Charlton have enough so it’s whether we can finish above one of Blackburn or West Brom for me…
  15. Why a joke. They are second bottom. Hardly setting the world alight are they! To take him on only a week ago and then not even put him in the squad is annoying. I suppose this is how you know as a club where it is worth sending youngsters to and which clubs to avoid.
  16. I don’t think it is. The options just means Rennes can’t whack the price up based on him having a great season here. Other clubs could still pay more and sign him. And he could also decline and choose to go elsewhere.
  17. I had said about getting a Wes/Huth type in and fitness to be seen, this is that signing. A shame we couldn’t get a left back but assuming we manage to stay in this league, and keep them, the following could have a good balance if we could get a left back with some senior experience. Aluko - Lascelles - Nelson - new Good mix of experience and youth there already. Hopefully the 3 names there can be starting for the rest of this season with a random fan selection at left back until we can address it
  18. Look, I’m far from happy with the window. I’m a massive critic of this regime and the players brought in recent years. It’s not just talent either, but how many apart from James can we say have had the right mentality for a Leicester player? I’d even suggest most of the players brought under Maresca didn’t have that either. The Aribo one is just lazy and predicable. Lascelles I actually have been asking for a player of this type. A leader at the back and a good mentality. It looks like the deal itself is ok (not a long deal without him proving himself here). Fitness yeah, but no signing is without risks. Musaka is the type of loan you’d look to pick up at this level. But was it needed over other positions? Hmm, no sure. Richards (if he even signs) is the oddest one I agree. I get thinking it is predicable how it’ll turn out. But I just hope people don’t get on his back (if he even plays for us). It feels more like the business we haven’t done (a proven striker and left back) than what we have done. Ultimately us surviving this year likely depends if these new guys contribute so we need to hope they do. I don’t buy this BS that by protesting against KP means not backing the team. The protests need to be loud and constant but without draining the confidence of the players any more! I’m glad Soumare and Faes are out the way. Winks would have been good. Ayew and Vestergaard even better. I do think mostly those we are fielding now aren’t twats.
  19. Ok the age is wrong. Other than that, I have the point exactly. You aren’t happy with someone who is an unknown and are throwing your toys out saying you aren’t giving him a chance. Is that is wrong, feel free to enlighten me….
  20. Checks to see who Blackburn are playing tonight… 🦉’s
  21. Won’t even be that much. If Winks is on £90k, 3 weeks would be £270k. There’s no way we have exceeded that for Cover, from Rotherham.
  22. True, in terms of actually getting the deals through. But it’s also what happens when you do no business all month and panic on the final day…. The business isn’t only happening at all because Aiyawatt decided to bless us all with his presence and has panicked.
  23. I wondered this. But they have their social media foot soldiers using it as their defence at every turn. I think it is more that they don’t want to draw attention to those who were really responsible (the players). The narrative they have built is that it was KP and Rudkin etc who are the ones responsible for the achievement. A false narrative eaten up by many of our supporters, who no doubt jumped on the bandwagon around that time.
  24. Coady and Winks absolutely are a huge part of the problem. We already knew we had trouble at the time we got relegated as we had done no business the summer before. If we had come down and made sensible decisions, scouted well and not signed the likes of Coady and Winks, then renewing Vestergaard as well as the signings under Cooper, we’d be pretty clear in terms of PSR now as many of them would have gone (or not been signed). You’d have Daka and left for this summer now Soumare has gone and Faes in 2027 and that would be it.
  25. To be fair, if you are going to get on an 18 year olds back before they have kicked a ball for us, it’s that you actively want them to fail, not they you just think they will. Self fulfilling prophecy and all that.
