Divine Mukasa from Manchester City (loan, official.)
LCFCJohn replied to DZ-LCFC's topic in Transfer Talk
He’s an 18 year old kid and it’s Man City It’s one thing, as others have said above, to wonder whether he can make an impact in a toxic environment and relegation battle. But let’s not pretend he’s not good enough for us because he isn’t a regular starter for Man City…. Swear you think we are a regular European club or something! -
Inevitable. We have just lost back to back home games against relegation rivals. Even without a deduction, we are struggling now I think.
-
We haven’t seen any play yet. All been Charlton rolling round on the ground!
-
This is interesting to hear. I think we need to give him the time and patience. This isn’t his mess and his legacy at the club outweighs anybody else still connected with it (along with the Birch). He has done more for this club than Aiyawatt and Rudkin as well as all the current players now Vardy has gone. It does seem some people are already trying to connect him to the mess that we have seen under RVN and Marti. I hope these people don’t look for a reason to pile on King.

There’s bookies favourites and just the plain obvious
-
Well I thought my predication of 1-1 was a negative outlook last week but turns out it was overly positive! After last week, and with the injuries we have, I just can’t see how we get anything from the game, even with Marti gone. Charlton will come here confident, as favourites. As long as they work hard, the 3 points are theirs, let be honest.

Players Contracts, Salaries and Expiry dates
LCFCJohn replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
Not sure they are compatible. Thomas lacks in pretty much every area and is just awful. Stolarcryk seems much more the type that would flourish outside this dumpster fire we call a club. The areas he is performing poorly in should be identified and worked on by coaches but we aren’t doing that. Also, as has been highlighted, Thomas was actually given a rise that was madness. If there is interest in Stolarcryk and his wages are modest, it is a different situation to be fair. -
Adam ‘Villa and Bournemouth debacles’ Sadler….. Great

Players Contracts, Salaries and Expiry dates

Probably a clean sweep on those 2026 and 2027 ones to be fair. James won’t sign and Nelson we will need to cash in on. Rest can go pretty much. -
Soumare sold to Al-Duhail SC - Official
LCFCJohn replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
£17 Mill is what we paid for him. Not what we’ll have sold him for. -
Pretty decent/good in the earlier years. Stand outs, Morgan, Drinkwater, Mahrez and Huth. Wood did his bit as well. Phillips was a great pick up on a free by Pearson in the promotion season. Ndidi and Tielemans the only of note since the title win.

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR
LCFCJohn replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I both agree and disagree with parts of this. Where I disagree is that we brought this on ourselves through incompetence. Even since that first relegation, we have continued to spend poorly, how out inflated wages, poor managerial choice etc etc. In terms of your last bit, look at what we did spend (sorry waste) in that January. Spending is one thing, but there’s no way we would have spent it well with the morons running the club and would have been relegated in an even bigger hole. We needed players with the right mindset and we still aren’t doing that to this day. But it is true that when the club ends up so restricted, it does create a vicious cycle and points deductions aren’t really helpful as they push a club down the league, potentially out that league and relegated which like you say, actually pushes a club closer to going bust. We know the PSR rules are to protest the elite and not actually to protect the future of other clubs. Ultimately, like with Wednesday, it should be incompetent owners like Chansiri and Aiyawatt who are punished. We should also be managed by the authorities so that competent financial people take the decisions on contracts and signings out of the clubs hands in my option. -
Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR
LCFCJohn replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Also gave Luke Thomas a pay rise and long contract so yeah…. I have said before, I don’t think Aiyawatt and co understand PSR, in that they seem to think it’s just about not signing anybody, but still chucking stupid wages at existing contracts or any incomings we do have. Whereas, if they understood and were trying to be compliant, this would be reflected in the wages handed out also. It sounds like a far fetched thing to say, how could the club not know that wages are included in PSR? But given his revelation about not understanding PSR in the interviews, I genuinely think it’s true! -
Three possible reasons; 1. Troll 2. Indoctrinated (KP cult) 3. Genuinely thick as mince You are of course correct. This season could see us around entering our top 10 worst every league finishes (in the overall pyramid). I think historically we sit 22nd. Along with our record second tier roles, our natural place is at the top of this division/toward the bottom of the first tier. Despite what the cult will have you believe, our natural place has never been bottom half of this league. Being in the bottom half of this league happens when something isn’t right at the club. When it’s being managed badly…

If this graphic is shown again in 5 years time, there will be a sharper downwards spike than at any point before with a lower point than every reached before.

Someone on the FB pages claiming we were a yo-yo club between the Championship and League 1 before KP…some special individuals out there!

Clearly wasn’t just that summer though (2021). If it was, we’d finally be free of it this summer. What about Faes (overpaid and a bad apple) 22 Souttar (overpaid) Jan 23 Kristiansen (overpaid and crap) - Jan 23 Winks (overpaid and a bad apple) - 23 Coady (overpaid and crap) - 23 Vestergaard new contract - 24 Ayew (past it) - 24 Skipp (I like him but huge overpay) - 24 Eduoard and Carranza (bizarre loans) Thomas new contract - 25 Thats just the dross we have signed/given new contracts to. Or in the case of Skipp, dross is harsh but overpaid. I haven’t even included people like BDR on there as he was a free transfer and despite what people say, it’s the type of signing Pearson would have made. But that’s just players who we have thrown fees and inflated wages at. If lessons had been learned, this wouldn’t still be happening. You sound like a Facebook dweller. Sorry.

Can anybody, on here, reading this who either outright defends Aiyawatt or refuses to support action who can actually say why? I know people reach a point at different paces in which they see things, and understand them. But at this stage, supporting him, backing him, refusing to hold him accountable is showing active distain for the club.
-
What disrespectful, arrogant sh*t! This is seriously worrying…. This is now about whether we following the Sheff Weds trajectory, continue to spiral quickly and go bang and he is forced to leave or the Blackburn one that is just drawn out and miserable. I would rather the former, even if it results in administration. People literally need to get the idea out of their heads that we will ever play in the PL again under this ownership.
-
He’s 40. He’s a grown man. Ok, he was 33 when it happened and being my age, yeah, going through that would be tough. There’s people who are younger, and been through even worse traumas who work hard and give their all to make those they have lost proud. Aiyawatt, is a spoilt man child who has never had to earn anything in his life. He spends more time playing polo and living a lavish life. If he was serious about the businesses, you don’t think he’d be putting his all in? He doesn’t give a f***. It’s clear as day. The culture is absolutely rotten as he is not used to accountability, taking ownership and putting in the hard yards to learn and improve. Always someone else’s fault!
-
I don’t think is it unreasonable to expect players to understand the fans point of view, regardless of if they are being paid. Ultimately, if they put a shift in which they don’t, they wouldn’t need to feel like they are all targets of the fans anger. You’d expect them to have all grown up with a boyhood team. If money has gone to their heads, or they are too clueless to be able to put themselves in the position of how they would feel if it was that club, that’s not our problem, sorry. Regardless of the wider football world, that does not excuse how our club is being run. If you think what is happening at our club is fine, we will never agree.
-
Oh yeah I agree there. If anything, I just thought those two points given him too much credit!
-
Remember though, UFS are the problem and a stain on the club
