5 and a half for the subs and goals so a minute and a half for the injuries seems fair. I don’t think 7 minute yesterday was the problem, I think only 4 in the Sheffield United game was the problem. Inconsistency yes. But yesterday not the problem.

And may well have cost him staying, which is a much bigger cost in terms of what he could earn us down the line.

Brilliant Fox might actually be Winks 🤔
-
And Jakub has won us many by being the best shot stopper in the league. So what?

He wasn’t a purchase. Obviously we don’t know the finances involved but it seems a very Pearson like free transfers. Yeah he didn’t do anything last season in that dire team but he is strong at this level. -
LCFC 3-1 Ipswich, post-match thread
LCFCJohn replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Page for BDR would have been a better option. Just re the in form comment. I saw the last 6 for both sides ahead of today. Lei - 3x wins, 1 draw and 2 losses Ips - 3x wins. 2 draws and 1 loss So there wasn’t much in it. -
Thoughts and prayers for you regarding the win today 🙏

Anyone still annoyed he is playing due to having ‘failed his audition’ against Huddersfield? His performances are just what was expected. He had excelled at that level and has a much higher ceiling than any of our centre backs. I can’t believe it took so long to bring him in and until we hear anything about a contract, it still looks like it has come too late.
-
Because everybody moaned they Iverson was crap with his feet and the next coming Maresca decided Stolarcryk is better in that sense than Iverson so I would imagine if we did still have him rather than Jakob, people would be in complete meltdown.
-
In fairness, he didn’t say Hirst won’t put Thomas and Vestergaard to the sword, but most forwards can still do that. I would say with the money Ipswich have chucked about since their promotion, they should have better. Thy said, Hirst is still than any of our options.

I thought he meant more long term as in under contract past this season (with Winks and Soumare going). But even Choudhury only has until 2027. Im not sure why Choudhury has been constantly used as a right back. Maresca started it. He’s a central midfielder. Wilder tried him at full back and as a good coach, realised this quickly and put him back in his main position where he did really well for a side that got 90 points (something we can only dream of currently). Hamza’s obviously a mess off the field and that would be reason on its own to move him on. His wages are above his ability (per most of this squad) and that is another reason to move him on. As for his merits as a player, in his main position, he has plenty to offer at this level. I’d move him on in a heartbeat. But on Wednesday, rather than moving BDR back, I’d have had Aluko or Ricardo (we had 2 RBs on the bench ffs) on for James and pushed Hamza into midfield. Basically, move him on or use him properly. Not the stupid Maresca experiment.

So as well as wanting us to lose games, you are now posting about fans setting fire to their stadium. You couldn’t think of any other examples to use for fans making a stand (rather than burning it)? Your posts are just erratic and bizarre. Genuine suggestion but maybe take a short break from the forum if it’s too much?
-
Because our club and fans turn their noses up at a keeper who can, you know, shot stop, in favour of those who can kick a ball ok but can’t save s**t!
-
To be fair, we don’t need a transfer fee and I do think we could get a small fee from someone. Players succeed and fail at different clubs and other clubs could fancy their chances of getting more consistent performances out of him. The problem, as alway with us, wages. Nobody will pay the wages which is why giving him a pay rise was stupid.
-
What is this guys problem? He played really well on Saturday but then reverts to being crap. I maintained what I have always said, he can perform at the level we are at now certainly. But if he can’t do it week in week out and be solid defensively, he needs to move on.

How long have you had that one loaded Mate, I don’t give a damn if Marti stays or goes. I don’t trust dumb and dumber to improve things but I’m not ‘Marti in’. What you at mistaking that for is objectively and balance which is something you don’t have given you stated on this forum that you want us to lose games as your priority is getting rid of the manager. Rather than wanting us to win games in the hope that could improve things such as confidence. I pulled you up on that comment and guess what, you didn’t acknowledge it! So even thought the principle of what you are saying I agree with (about how to approach the game in the lead), you lose credibility by wanting us to lose games as that isn’t what a supporter does and wants. It is infuriating to chuck away 2 points from 2-0. But you must be delighted with that. Clearly we haven’t got a pot to piss in to pay him off so I am just looking at it with balance rather than getting my blood pressure through the roof wanting yet another manager out when the failings run so much higher. Should Marti be doing a better job? Certainly yes. But there are some positives to build on. The team selection now resembles what most of us would select with who is available and the youngsters are getting minutes. I have said before I would prioritise youth players even if results dipped so I would be a hypocrite to moan about it and not acknowledge the young players coming in as a positive. And Winks and Faes out is great. Although we have still had poor second halves, these last two first halves have been much better than what we have seen previously. We are now looking more capable of scoring. A few weeks ago for example, we’d have not scored twice last night and lost. End of the day, 4 points from 6 on the road keeps us moving and ticking along. It just bites as it should have been 6 given the position we were in at half time last night.

No point travelling for them really…

Not missing the point in that I get it is a trend across the world and going back longer that 2022 so I was not suggesting that is the reason, even if framed poorly. More pointing out the irony that of all people, Putin is ‘concerned’ about this when he is showing not regard for life and actively sending his people to be killed over a land grab basically. I wasn’t suggesting all would be fine if not for that, more that it could be a starting point as to how not to further reduce your population.
-
I mean shocking revelation there that starting an unnecessary war could decrease population right! It’s not just those falling in Ukraine. Why would Russian’s be wanting to have kids in these times? I know if you have a child now, it’s 18 years before they are an adult but the thought they could be sent to the front line at 18 (in this version of this war or a future one) would play on minds. And also the economic side for the people there struggling. Maybe if he prioritised peace and creating a country where the people can have families rather than a pointless land grab, when they are already the biggest country by area and clearly haven’t got the population to match!
-
Newport was pretty bad a few years back under Rodgers(?). But yeah would be bad! I just want a draw where we can see the likes of Aluko, Evans, Page get possibly a full game or at least start.
-
Western Super Mare. Why would we not just want the lowest ranked side at this stage?

The poster in question posted yesterday stating they want us to lose games so that Marti is sacked by the way. For context as to who you are conversing with. -
Once Okoli is back and if Souttar is close, there is hope!
