  1. Not sure if this is a sign of how we’ve fallen or whether Wilf is back!
  2. Why is he playing when we have an alternative
  3. SHOT ON TARGET
  4. I think on balance you are conflating two very different relationships.
  5. Labour have plenty of time to learn on the job.
  6. The major European powers need to seriously up their Military spending now, if not sooner. 4-5% I think at least, else we are going to seriously regret it. The US is no longer willing to fund our defense for us, that much is clear.
  7. I don't think it does really, you just tend not to visit the same sort of areas when you are visiting as when you are living, commuting or working in a city. I have seen plenty of shitty bits of Paris, Madrid, Milan, Sydney, Jakarta etc.
  8. I'm not sure again what those two facts have to do with each other to be honest. Plenty of other banks to choose from these days, so they are doing something right. Interesting that despite high interest rates and cost of living crisis, they have record low levels of bad debts, and they are seeing increased savings levels which hopefully means a lot of people have more disposable income.
  9. WHY AM I SO BIG?
  10. Labour will improve over the next few years and probably win a second term, so no indeed she has sod all chance even if she does fight that election. Good chance Tories and Reform merge though after that out of necessity. The right finally has the same problem of split vote that the left has had since the 70s.
  11. She paid for the damage to the cab the following day. This has been a massive waste of the courts time over nothing. The police officer made a second statement 9 months after the fact when the CPS said no chance of prosecution, saying how terribly upset he was, then in court seemed not to be able to explain why he was upset. I am sure he gets a lot worse on a weekend, but they concocted this nonsense case. Very strange choice imo and you have to wonder why.
  12. While it is depressing, he is correct. When we are trying to save our steel industry by avoiding his stupid tariffs, it makes no sense to argue publicly with his stupid ideas. They are never going to happen anyway.
  13. War is bloody awful, that much everyone can agree on. Except those making the weapons and ammo obvs.
  14. Most of the time I think they look on Google maps, run an online valuation using the usual property databases and update their LTV model.
  15. The more I think about it, this idea of Gaza’s population moving permanently to neighbouring countries is a threat to those countries that if they don’t help in the short term with money and recognition of Israel they get a much worse outcome. in the short term it also bolsters BN with the right.
  16. I hope he is doing his old trick of making outrageous statements so when a sensible compromise is later offered both sides see it as an acceptable option. I am probably being too generous.
  17. Unless the rules only allow them to suspend for a week of course.
  18. It was about 1/100th of the price I think, although the main point as I understand it being they found a much more efficient way for the algorithm to find the answer, therefore the whole calculation for the processing chip demand that underpinned NVIDIA share price was wrong, which the markets seem to have worked out this week. I am not going to look at my pension this week, as it has a decent chunk in big tech.
  19. I'm not saying he isn't injury prone, but the bloke is 31. Our main striker is 38 and we still bang on like 31 is ancient.
  20. Lets be honest we have plenty of evidence of what is going on in those and ohter places, but we accept it because we either cannot change it or we have to live our lives.
  21. I think that overstating it a little. Putin isn’t about to invade a NATO country, he can’t even keep Ukraine forces out of Russia. don’t underestimate the strength of feeling against becoming a vassal state of Russia in the baltics.

  23. Convinced the equaliser was coming, not sure what to do now?
  24. Its a bit nonsense the price of gold is where it is mainly due to China getting out of USD, but Gold is actually a very useful metal. Excellent conducting capabilities and doesn't rust for a start. Soft so good for filling etc. None of that pushes the price to 3k though.
