These stories seem to be setting the scene for AI age verification on Amazon etc. Its coming, and they want us to accept it as necessary. Or am I paranoid?

As we know from the first time round, he says lots of shit he will never do, and he does things which were never mentioned before they are announced. Although he is indeed doing a lot of things he said he would so far, but it is only 48 hours in, plenty of time for more nonsense to be uttered off the cuff that the media gets excited about but never happens. I think he would be quite happy to lose the ability to do some expensive things in court battles tbh.

I wish this was funny.

Easy to say when you are out of jail and don't need a job.

Its an opening gambit, so I doubt he expects anything like it. Also I don't think Russia wants a deal with 200k Nato troops in Ukraine. That said, we had way more than 10% our troops stationed in Germany not that long ago.

While both are unpleasant, only one of them is trying to drag the center right into fascist land with him.

That’s an interesting point. Certainly that was behind some colonial activities but I suspect they were riding on the coattails of military power and greed.

500k then.

We have a squad?

I think that is a bit of a stretch. Not supporting the pardons, as they were convicted in a robust process imo, but they were certainly not charged with attempted murder.

Not sure the headline writer read the article... UK CEO survey. More of a sad reflection on the instability in the world unfortunately than a great vote of confidence in the UK economy.

No idea what the hell that gesture was. What a ****ing weird bloke he is.

Ah I should have gone to sleep at half time

I’d say something about Fulham not taking their chances if I felt it would continue.

We’re due a bit of luck. 3-1 win. 🏆

Are you talking about me???

I’m glad to hear that, very talented man! I was a huge Poppies fan in the day.

Probably because they have not won anything or been in Europe, they don't have players knocking down the door demanding pay rises to stay. They have no ambition to be much more than mid table survival team. It will work until it doesn't. When they get relegated again it won't be a disaster. They will never win the league or FA Cup though.

Im convinced the average Joe is better off than ever, more informed than ever, has access to more knowledge than ever in history at his literal finger tip, and they still voted for Donald Trump. We are in the main as parochial and as easily controlled as we ever were.

Attractive as that might be, novated leases are currently available from pre-tax earnings without fringe benefit tax, so you can save a bit on leases, eg Tesla model 3 for about $850 a month net if you are higher rate taxpayer.

Hopefully for a decent wedge then. Good luck to him. Lets spend the PSR room wisely. Yes I know, very unlikely but we have to hope.

Fortunately, I think we can rely a few factors to ensure this is not an issue: 1) the short termism very common in large companies (which is not entirely illogical) will result in them taking the short terms revenues over long term ones. 2) The cures will not always be developed or bought by the same companies who have the market share for chronic treatments. Those cures will in fact be significantly more valuable to competing companies who are therefore much more likely to acquire those who develop them (i.e. if you are the dominant player for chronic treatments, are you even investing in a cure? Your competitors are though, because for them the whole market is there for the taking. 3) Surely some Scientists still do research for the glory and to make the world a better place! If my cure was blocked I would leak it for sure.
