  1. That's not how accounting works. As soon as you have a financial settlement agreed you have a liability which accounting standards require you to provide for in the current financial year. You can move he cash payment but not the P&L expense.
  2. Top 1% more like.
  3. Is it? Seems pretty reasonable to me, he gets to see out the season, with thanks and moves on. He could perhaps have said a bit less to the media.
  4. Through a combination of jet lag and a cold, it’s 4am and I’ve not had any sleep. Yay!
  5. The problem being as the internet fills up with AI generated information (a fair chunk of which is not accurate at the moment), someone will have to prevent it learning from itself with the resultant drop in quality of output. I think we will soon see paying a premium for quality "human certified" information the norm, because there will be so much crap out there we won't know what to believe.
  6. Like Trump, albeit with three wives. Musk is a nutter.
  7. I mean to be fair, hardly anyone would describe them as conservative. Musk in particular is a nutter who thinks he is personally responsible for keeping the white population up…
  8. I was also thinking that last sentence was a little redundant!
  9. Yes, he has been too quiet locked away, we need him on the streets talking bollocks.
  10. Our press rarely report on it though.
  11. no doubt some massive new revenue stream will appear just in time.
  12. It's probably nonsense, I wouldn't worry about it. They probably both turned us down.
  13. Trump is all about the public though, he probably does **** all when he is not on screen tbh. Play golf?
  14. He might have learnt something this season. Also I think the rebuild that is needed probably means relegation at least once more anyway even if we do go up again next season.
  15. Lets be honest, there is zero chance they are talking to new managers at this point. Jon hasn't even had a holiday yet!
  16. IF we need some experience because we have successfully offloaded every player over 25 in the squad, then fine. If not then no thanks.
  17. Raw burger exports? I know it extends the current position, which is probably ok, but I can't help feeling given how much this means for the French in particular, we should have got access to the EU defence fund for it.
  18. I suppose the obvious conclusion to us saying they had no jurisdiction to punish us after relegation was that they did after promotion.
  19. Honestly? With the current PSR rules, or evn without them, it is almost impossible for a medium sized club like ours to be in the top 10 of the prem regularly, and to avoid relegation consistently. I fully expect that what we saw happen to us will also happen to Forest, Palace, Brentford, Brighton etc in the coming years. No one will manage consistent success over more than a decade or so. We / they simply don't have the funds to make mistakes, and under current rule cannot top up with owners cash. The system is rigged.
  20. I see we have given our fish away to continental fisherman again. I am sure that will go well.
  21. It's a fair point re age, but Rohl and Still started coaching 15 years ago, and Kingy started a couple of years ago. This is more important I think, although of course Kingy had a more impressive playing career than either of them, his coaching experience is some way behind.
  22. At my mums in Surrey this weekend so popped into RHS Wisley today for the first time in I think 7 years. Beautiful as ever but a great new layout and garden centre too. Well worth a visit.
  23. Absolutely none of course. RVN has to go as soon as possible, and Andy has many years of learning to do before he can be considered an influential coach.
  24. I'm a bit emotional. Thank you Jamie. Legend.
  25. I would imagine the rich pay to get these things downrated so they don't come up.
