  1. We are English though, most of us are not capable of calmy enjoying things without some kind of deprecating comment.
  2. I can totally do this. #winning #royalblood
  3. It is so bloody nice having some crisps in the house. They disappear sodding quickly. A bit like ice lollies around here.
  4. This has zero to do with Director of football roles, and everything to do with corporate structure. Most of these companies have a parent company and the directors are either paid from there or not paid as they are owners. Top is not paid by the club, only Susan is a paid director. Chelsea have several including Todd B, who no doubt is a paid director.
  5. No chance - most people have zero idea what the conspiracy theories are. Going public with something even vaguely serious on the other hand would be global front page news for days possibly weeks.
  6. You are confusing Director of football (job title) with company directors (those who make up the legal company board). No chance Rudkin is one of those, probably the only paid director is Susan. Top and/or others from the parent would be paid by the parent or simply non-paid shareholders. Chelsea obviously use directorship as a way of actually paying some of their non shareholding advisors or something. Edit: Confirmed: Directors are: Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha Apichet Srivaddhanaprabha Shilai Liu Susa Valerie Whelan
  7. He probably has one of them swanky new phones that merges the images for you with AI. And then posted it on Insta like everyone else. To be fair there is **** all they can do about conspiracy theories without revealing what is going on, and they clearly see no advantage in that.
  8. She must be dead then, there is no other sensible conclusion. After all, literally no one ever did a slightly shoddy multiple pics into one edit and shared it on social media. Mind you if someone actually formally sent this to the media they need sacking for being a ****wit.
  9. Happy Birthday @fuchsntf!
  10. To be fair I think he was signed to play the Vesty role, but much to everyone's surprise except himself, Jannick has been exceptional at that role. Easy to say in retrospect it is a waste of money, but at the time it looked essential, and we all agreed.
  11. Interesting take. Surely what makes a manager is being able to cope with such challenges? Not everyone can start their management career at Barca or manage Man City.
  12. Very good point. Winks was invisible today wasn't he?
  13. He might not always get in the right place, we might not always give him the service, but my god its like a flashback when we it clicks!!
  14. Come on you cardiffians!
  15. Bristol is a fine city. It’s definitely got two football teams though.
  16. Unless they somehow find a way to have us stripped of our premier league title and FA cup I put it to you that this is simply impossible.
  17. If they lose Maidenhead that might just be the end of the party as a whole.
  18. It would take a long time
  19. I'm not sure you can even make this distinction anymore, even it were true in the first place. I would personally characterize the conservative view as encouraging wealth creation for the betterment of all, capitalism as the best method of lifting everyone up, whereas socialism would prefer a more equal society and is fine is the poorest are less well-off overall as long as they are not so far behind everyone else. That said I think both have gone wrong inasmuch as the inequality has reached unacceptable levels and conservatives have failed to react, and the left are no longer really socialist at all, but just seem to want to drive equality through more tax and spend and drive their vote through the politics of envy. Both then are pushing the populace towards lower levels of happiness despite never having been richer by any measure.
  20. Of course it could, but it has to choose to. It would be a start for them to meet their NATO spend commitment of 2% of GDP, as Trump demanded last time and no doubt will again.
  21. I was up early as I have a cough, so watched about 30 mins. We looked as tired as I felt! Should have gone back to bed.
