  1. "I do she said" must be a blonde the way she messed up her line.
  2. On Frank: Ange failed at Spurs because of his dogmatic approach. Ultimately he won silverware by compromising on his own principles. Frank is a pragmatisk, which seems to suit the squad better. I feel he is actually far better suited than Ange, Conte or Mourinho we're. But let's see, he'll probably prove you right anyway 😆
  3. Have to agree. Only a serious crash for Pogi will open it up again.
  4. Urgh, gutting loss. So close but some fantastic goals by France at the end there.
  5. Yes, he is.
  6. William Osula 3 goals in 90 minutes so far. He's not really looking like getting a chance at Newcastle. Maybe worth a loan?
  7. Is anyone watching the U21 Euros? Surely there is some cheap talent in that Georgia side. Already beaten Poland and France are only drawing them with a late equaliser. They have history of doing well in the U teams as well, and we all know about the stars that have surfaced there in recent years.
  8. He's not realistically going to get offered a better job until he proves himself with a team like Spurs. You can argue the conditions are perfect for him. He should be able to improve on 17th and he'll get some European football experience too. Will he bring along some Brentford players too?
  9. What are you basing this on? Seems a ridiculous comment. Footballers at this level have been taking care of their bodies probably their entire careers. Youri was always pretty one-paced (not as bad as Kingy though) and for some reason fans reproached him for this.
  10. Only just saw Tielemans' goal for Belgium against Wales. What a finish!! He's class and while he obviously fell off in his last season, what a great player he was for us. From his immediate impact on loan to his crowning FA Cup winning goal, he gave us some great memories with so many superb passes and goals.
  11. Inzaghi is looking for a job. Champions League to Championship?
  12. USGs rise is nothing short of remarkable. Usurping traditional power houses like Club Brugge, Anderlecht and Genk is no mean feat.
  13. So like any other league there are some successes and some duffers. Kramaric was a success at Hoffenheim, does that make the Bundesliga a weak league? Ayoze Perez is ripping it up the La Liga, does that make it a weak league? McTominay and Lookman are recent revelations in Serie A, does that make a weak league? Either way, you yourself acknowledge that Van Dijk was a major success who came via the Scottish league, so no need to belittle it.
  14. On paper it seemed sensible. In hindsight, it was another dreadful deal.
  15. If you don't count the youth players, yes. Hamza made his first appearance for the first team in 2017, so going by that measure, he'd be the longest-serving player after Ndidi.
  16. Once again, some soft goals to concede and poor finishing at the other end. Could easily have won that. Here's hoping you have a good off-season and use the money from Banzuzi well. Is Davis Opoku a hot prospect?
  17. Wait, I thought they dissolved? Just had a quick check to see they are kind of a phoenix club and rocketing up the leagues. Is there a lot of controversy about them?
  18. Jess Thorup will be available this summer. Abother coach good with developing youth.
  19. Surely the embargo is just for us to buy, not to sell.
  20. Oh... My... Effing....God! This is surreal!
  21. Does nobody actually fact check this? My first search was Manuel Pellegrini who won the Intertoto Cup with Villarreal in 2004. Get in the bin.
  22. Nailbiting stuff right now whether our boys will play yours in the quarters! Wooo!! See you in the quarters!
  23. It's bizarre how they place the Worlds in the middle of the NHL playoffs. You wonder why they can't place it in the off-season.
  24. He doesn't strike me as a manager. I don't think he's all that tactically. Maybe as a sporting director or CEO. He may also just pursue an ambassadorial role with his strong media persona. I think his extremely driven character comes across as arrogant and too serious for some. I completely imagine him being a dad-type person who will step forward and take (as well as demand) responsibility. He's not the type that will go out of line and party wildly if that's what it means to be 'one of the lads'.
