  1. I have faith the rules will change soon enough, they simply are not fit for purpose. That's clear in the fact that everyone's being hit with reports that "points deductions are looming" so something's gone drastically wrong, no? You know its bad when the Forest lot have been white knighting our plight. It's a system suited to strengthen the Big 6 and force us to sell to them for cut prices. Farcical!
  2. Doyle vs Philogene....oh dear
  3. That must have been where the highlights ended surely? Cause F'all happened after that. Dross!
  4. Surely if you were to do this, you'd have Doyle in defence and Hamza in midfield, no? Either way that's a rogue line-up!
  5. Pearson's team lost 1 less game all season than we've lost already with 11 games to go. Pearson's team had more fight, they would hit us on the break and would win! Nugent to score.
  6. Supposedly they have Dan Ballard back in defence for this game who's been a miss for them recently and from the When You're Smiling pod, its been mentioned they could drop a 16 year old into midfield too. Maybe someone to get the better of!
  7. It would have been the record if they still had Thomas.
  8. While I agree he was underwhelming, he was someone Enzo desperately pushed for so without a doubt it was Chelsea's decision to recall which makes it even more of a blow that he's not playing there when we're so light. But whether he was that good or not is kinda irrelevant when we now have less midfielders than we started the window so naturally some of them are going to be playing more minutes than they were planned to throughout the remainder of games which in turn will probably lead to injuries from fatigue. He was good to have as an option to mix it up, unique stature to the rest of the lads. Exiting the window weaker than we started was never ever going to be a positive and we're seeing the results of that now.
  9. I think people are forgetting that the teams we're facing in the middle of the table with "nothing to play for" are still playing Leicester City. We're the scalps of the division and everyone gives more when playing us (take Boro for example who are wank before and after they played us" yet it seems we don't give everything back. Pure complacency!
  10. Everyone kept telling me we'd be fine and my concern that the cup wasn't priority didn't matter. I'll welcome the apologies cause we've collapsed...and we know what that looks like!
  11. Not sure its the same? Factually we will lose the ones out of contract at the end of the season regardless of the league and you can't expect KDH, Daka etc to stay if we're stuck in the Champ. I'd imagine they've been given verbal nods to be able to leave should we not go up at the first time of asking. At that point it looks a lot harder to get out the division again (look at Norwich, Leeds for years and so on), so quite feasibly could be years until we see the Prem. Conversely, after watching our weakened side vs Bournemouth, I think we'll be ok in the PL next season. I don't think we'll go down especially with PL standard additions which we'll need to make as I've mentioned the departures above.
  12. HA you think we'll keep our big name players if we're stuck in the league again next year?!?!?. Deary me.
  13. Can't say that mate...apparently thinking the league is the clear priority is blasphemous to the "magic of the cup" as if we didn't win in a couple years ago. I was invested as anyone last night especially when you got the feeling we could do something, but I think some here would take another FA Cup to stay in the championship and its just too detrimental to the club to be stuck down here! You might never get back out...
  14. Enzo has asked again that the Home fans be as loud and responsive as the Away fans in his post-match interview on the Leicester YouTube channel. No doubt because its a side at the bottom end of the table that the fans won't give a hoot again!
  15. Very bold of you to assume the notorious bottlers are still in the draw
  16. Was very impressed with his dominance from corners! Something basically none of our keepers for years have been good at, especially Kasper who was notoriously stuck to his line. Distribution needs lots of improvement though if he wants to replace Mads at some point.
  17. I thought almost everyone was brilliant to be honest....
  18. Yeah in 1931, West Bromwich Albion did it......and no one else. Wake up fella . Also I never said the players fielded wouldn't give it their all, I expect the reserves to show something! Doesn't mean it'll be enough against Bournemouth. Plain and simply put, its not a priority, end of!
  19. Yeah think he's had 8 starts all comps so he can't meet the obligation with only 12 league games left (unless of course we go far in FA cup and he starts every game, and also we end up in the play offs and he starts).
  20. The OP literally mentions that due to the sensory issues their child has, it could possibly be a situation where the ground is too loud for them. They won't know until they try but if worst comes to worst, a membership isn't a necessary additional cost.
  21. 1st Feb 2014 - Championship
  22. It was clear Enzo wasn't that bothered last round yet we accidently got through vs Brums first XI.
  23. Unfortunately mate, you can't be helped if this is what you believe. It's plausible that we play a strong team tonight, get injuries (or fatigue due to travel) and then drop more points to QPR and then don't get promoted and it'll be the biggest disaster in our recent history and have long lasting effect on the trajectory of this club. He's played the kids every round and at some point we'll draw Man City or Liverpool and lose. It's literally an irrelevance THIS season whether you like it or not!
  24. Some of these comments are insanity. Why the hell would we care about the FA Cup at this point? We literally need to get promoted, so rest everyone we can. We won the FA Cup not long ago, we won't be winning it this season, its really not rocket science. Had we actually switched on for 90 minutes against Leeds, or Middlesbrough for example, I might think differently but the reality is we can't consider this now, the game is a hindrance!
