This is the second of two challenging fixtures at this level. Like Coventry, they will be looking to compete for a top six place again this season. I can see Friday's game being our third straight draw.

That’s fair enough. Just not overly disappointed at this stage with a point against a side who during the course of the season will likely be challenging up there again. -

This has now sold out then. I would have been surprised if it hadn't given the small allocation (1,976) and Saturday 3pm kick-off, but it's still a good effort. -

Glad we've been able to maintain this record - but in fairness, it took 41 years for a Leicester team to win an away league match at Forest. -
The type of player at the moment who needs to continue to feel support from the fanbase. He was disappointing last season as many players were, but he's also still a good player at this level. It's too early at this stage to start writing players off.

Not a bad point on Saturday overall, as Coventry are a good side at this level. The unbeaten home record against them continues for the 24th year. -
It was their fans who sang that, which was in response to Champions of England, you’ll never sing that.
-
I'm becoming increasingly despondent when it comes to our home support. I'm not sure there's enough of an appreciation of just how poor it is given the size of the crowd. The club have had the biggest opportunity since the stadium move to relocate all like-minded fans together, but this unfortunately hasn’t happened.
-
Disagree on the first point. They were louder overall in the second half if not the first as well. As for the second point, if safe standing would have been put in place across blocks P to P3, with Union FS centrally positioned and the two Family Areas relocated, it would have created an 'end' and significantly improved the atmosphere. Instead, and as is to be expected, there has been very minimal impact to the atmosphere because of the club's decision not to bring together all like-minded fans, whether that be a full stand in the South or North.
-
That impression can still be formed because the noise from that area hardly travels at all to the other end of the stadium.
-
The view on away support is always subjective, especially given the way sound travels at the stadium which can be very misleading. I felt their fans were decent vocally and I'm doubtful we would have produced better.
-
Thoughts overall?

There's certainly some truth in this, but in our case it also very much depends on proximity to Coventry and Nottingham. Derby seems to be the lesser of the three rivalries at present but the same applies to them.

BBC Sport article from yesterday (East Midlands Today): Leicester City stalwart Hamza Choudhury said the Foxes have got "a job to do" against local rivals Coventry City on Saturday. Just 25 miles of M69 motorway separate the two clubs who, after years playing in different divisions, are now sparking new life into an old rivalry based not just on geography but promotion ambition too. "Derby games are always good to play in, they're the ones you look forward to", Choudhury told BBC East Midlands Today. "I think it almost died down a bit because we didn't play for them for so many years, so it almost got bypassed, but the two meetings two seasons ago reignited it. We're looking forward to it and we've got a job to do it." Leicester City squeezed past Coventry City in their season opener in 2023 only for the Sky Blues to return the favour later in the season. Now, with the Championship campaign still only a matter of weeks old, just one point and two places divide the pair in the push for promotion, which Choudhury said is Leicester's only goal. "The stature of the club, the players along with the manager means there's no hiding from it and promotion is what we expect," he said.

Swansea City (A) Saturday 4th October 3PM

The club never offers general sale for away matches. There's approximately 70 tickets left as of this morning (Thursday 18th September) and it's been on sale to all Members since Friday. -
Let's all play our part on Saturday in helping Marti and the players get over the line. The dreadful clappers now only being available in the Fan Zone and within one stand (which includes the two Family Areas in P2 and P3) has been a welcome change this season, and should make for a more authentic derby atmosphere.
-
The concern going into this one is that it still feels like a good time to play us. Coventry are clearly one of the better teams at this level and that's been evident over recent years. Hopefully Saturday is the game where it all comes together and we see the first complete performance from a Marti Cifuentes team. As for the rivalry, it may not be either club's traditional enemy but it's the closest both have got to a two-sided rivalry. The distance between both cities dictates that this is very much a derby game and if anything, can only see it getting bigger over time especially if both clubs stay in the same division.

@Sky Blues comes across as a decent and respectful poster so I don’t feel the reception on here was warranted.

There's approximately 85 tickets left (as of 12:15pm Wednesday 17th September). -
Two points dropped yesterday, but it's not too bad to come away with a point after being down to 10 men for 65+ minutes, and still be 4th in the table.
-
Marti has been proactive with his subs so far and seems to be getting it right in that respect which is good. He's trying to turn the tide with both fans and players, which is made even more difficult with certain members of the squad. However, after yesterday, I'm growing confident (tentatively) that he's managing to field a team which is pulling in the same direction. The result wasn't ideal but after going down to 10 men, we still came away with a point.

Aaron Ramsey joins on loan - Official

The red card meant two points were dropped yesterday, and Ramsey has now got to redeem himself which I'm confident he will do. As much as the tackle was reckless, it shows signs of a player who is at least passionate to play for the club, which hasn't been a given in recent times. That doesn't excuse the tackle though and he's obviously got to learn from it, so that any aggression within his game is channelled in a more productive way. In fairness, yesterday was the first red card of his career to date so it was more than likely an unfortunate one-off. -
Good to hear the rendition of When You're Smiling on around 17 mins yesterday.
