I stopped watching the last championship campaign as the football was turgid, opposition worked out how to deal with Enzo's set-up and it nearly cost us promotion. I think Plymouth beating us 1-0 at Home Park was a blessing - the players got together to sort it out, not Enzo. To think at one point we were on course to win the championship with a record number of points and finished only one ahead of Ipswich who had been promoted to the division beggars belief. Apparently we can expect more of the same boring predictable style under Martin, so if he is appointed, I'll give the season a miss, much as I hope promotion is achieved. The names in the frame are predictable and unexciting - there are so many better options available and their clubs don't all need compensation.

Visitor here - what I don't understand is why Chelsea/Enzo didn't go for Harry Winks instead - a perfect fit for Enzoball, stated he's loved his football at LCFC under Enzo and a London boy. We could surely have made a profit on him and if KDH goes for £30m, surely he'd be about that - in my view a Rolls Royce of a player. Vards said he was one of the best he'd played with too.
