Part of our mortgage expires end of this month so having to change. Has been at 1.64% for the last 5 years. What’s everyone’s thoughts on best bet now? I’m thinking fix for 3 years at just over 4%. Other part of our mortgage runs out next year and that’s been at 1.25%!

The heat in England is grim apart from if you’re on the coast. Makes me laugh when people compare England heat to that abroad as if it’s the same.

I was there this April and absolutely loved it. You got hotel etc sorted? Pasta at la bottega della Gina xxl was amazing, they make it fresh and it’s not a restaurant just a small place with seats outside. We also went to Iris which is fancy but absolutely brilliant. Antica bottega del vino was a class spot too for wine/food. It’s only 15 train to lake Garda which we did a couple of times. Train to desenzano del garda then boat to sirmione was class.

So many hotels don’t have air con in the uk. Absolutely brutal when it’s like this
