The more I think of him, I am convinced now that he was a terrific manager for this iteration of LCFC, considering what he was able to eke out of the lowest of the low general quality of this squad (with a coupe notable exceptions). If memory serves me right, we failed to score just once in 12 matches that Cooper managed in PL. We were 16th, two points above the drop, when he was sacked. That is an incredible feat, compared to RVN. Name one manager who could've done better with this roster of players, and exactly how he could've done it.

Hmm...Danny is definitely worth more as an organ donor than a goalkeeper. If I were him, I'd politely decline an invitation from the chairman to visit Thailand.
