Jamaal Lascelles joins on deal until end of season - Official

There needs to be a rule on FT that anybody suggesting a back 3 is automatically banned for a month. -
https://www.installeronline.co.uk/electric/government-gives-green-light-to-plug-in-solar/ Simple, plug in solar to become a thing in the UK as it is in Europe. If priced sensibly this could be a very good thing.

We've not had a good recruitment lead since macia. We should have made macia dof instead of letting him go to Bordeaux

Every time I think we might be okay we throw in another awful performance. 1 win, 3 draws and 2 losses from the last 6 isn't too bad for a team at the bottom end but it's that inability to take enough belief from a win to look good in the next game that bothers me. Really don't know where we're landing ATM. It's not as hopeless as last year but it is pretty awful.

You could save a bit by combining HR, payroll etc teams across the NHS, but only a bit. And if you are trying to get the best results you'd end up spending more than you've saved as the system is hopelessly underfunded thanks to austerity. While the budget has gone up, demand has far outstripped it thanks to an aging population. (We an aside, it's almost funny how it's actually old people living longer with more chronic and complex care needs that is really putting the NHS under pressure, yet those same old people think their one shilling a week NI paid for everything they get and it's the immigrants running the NHS that are to blame)

Literally everything he's done foreign policy wise has been to try and grab oil and minerals from across the globe. He's taking them from Ukraine, wanted them from Greenland, oil from Venezuela....

Presumably it's tactical. Daka chases balls. Ayew takes them to feet. If we're trying to get runners beyond the forward Ayew makes sense, and we did seem to have people moving forwards last match.

The other utterly ridiculous thing is guaranteeing certain prices to companies helping build energy capacity. This is precisely why private sector input into assets that should be publicly owned is such a terrible idea. Everything has to be incentivised to get them to do anything. Socialism for corporations, if you will.

Not sure that's an unpopular opinion tbh. How's he's still at the club given the journey we've had I've no idea

Jordan James £5m clause was a great deal -

"beyond the obvious" I don't know why we're conflating the general malaise at the club we're all annoyed with, and an individual transfer which isn't really necessarily a bad deal in the circumstances. It would be nice to not always have to bang on about rudkin when it's obvious he's shit. -

I don't really see the link between questions about this transfer and protests about the club leadership, beyond the obvious. In terms of the price we get in not sure on what basis you're complaining? We bought the lad as one of Europe's top prospects. After a year of delivering not much he's not held in such high esteem, hence him ending up at stutgart. This idea we should hold out for more money is bonkers, current leadership and league position or not. The nonsense about fans accepting where we are etc is a load of guff btw. -

Each to their own. I think we're all angry about where we are, but it's just not healthy - certainly for me - to dwell on what could or should be. I need to deal in reality, where we are. But we're all different, just my way. -

This is the route to an unhappy life my friend. Accept where we are. Not celebrating staying up is fair enough, refusing to celebrate anything outside the premier League....nah, that's not the way. -

What if nobody is prepared to pay what we paid? Why would they when they know we have PSR problems and need shot of our high earners? People just need to accept it and move on imo. -

Guys, you're living in Dreamland. We can't afford to keep him so need him to leave, he doesn't want to play for us anymore, we've apparently limited his options, that's absolutely no way we hold any cards here. Let's just be pleased we've covered his cost once you take year one out. -
Time we stopped conflating socialism with communism, and realised that capitalism is called capitalism because it exists to feed capital.

So last week Badenoch and Farage attacked Starmar for not joining the Iran war. This week they're both against joining the Iran war. Pair of Muppets. They'd both have literally waded into a war with no way out if either were in charge. Good week for starmar. Across social media right wingers spent all well attacking starmar, parroting Tory and reform attack lines. I always wonder how those people must feel when they reverse course.

He's come in to save our season and keep us up. None of the younger players have really done much. Maybe they'll get a go when we're safe.

Proper football, no talk of us 'having an idea', no philosophy, just defending, tackling, running forwards

We played pretty well. Look dangerous going forward. When under pressure we defended resolutely. Been a while since I could say any of that!- 264 replies
