  1. Apparently a minority of people holding a one time religious exercise there is the end of the world as we know it
  2. No person 'ineligible to be president' can be VP. He will be ineligible to be president. An untested part of the constitution I suppose but it's there in black and white.
  3. Trump can't run for VP. It's not just President he can't run for. I fully expect the republicans to get smashed in the midterms so he's going to be struggling to do anything in the second half of his term without congress being so compliant.
  4. Farage strangely quiet on Christians partaking in celebrating and worship in Trafalgar Square this weekend
  5. Still feel like it would've only taken a single proper striker coming in during January for us to have pulled clear. The lack of a player that can hold it up AND get on the end of chances has cost us very, very dearly.
  6. Could just be shit drivers
  7. It doesn't. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18565085/
  8. Yeah, I often consider political choices when deciding who to have a one night stand with Danny
  9. Good looking but horrific personally. So a really, really hard session before kicking her out is the only possible way to imagine that one.
  10. Indeed. The same mob that the rest of the time claim to hate cancel culture.
  11. You can expect and think all you like but it's pretty clear you're on your own with this one
  12. Again, you entirely missing the point. Exactly what is it you think they'd be doing? Getting his ideas across? He has a pretty straightforward tactical set up. Anything game specific is done in a relatively short space of time. Honestly, you just appear to be moaning for the sake of moaning. I'm sure if he thought there was value in additional training he'd be doing it. Clearly he sees more value in rest and recuperation. Given our performances have generally improved a little under him, I think that's a fair assessment, particularly when you consider it's generally an assessment managers arrive at during the final part of the season. You don't appear to have much support on here and aren't able to describe any reason why you know better than the manager, so perhaps you should consider whether you're really an authority on this.
  13. Out of interest, what exactly do you think they do on the training field that doing more of it would have any meaningful effect on the next match? They're professional footballers. They aren't going in and learning new skills. They train specific tactics for an opposition. How much of that do you think you can do? Presenteeism is not a basis for good managerial decisions.
  14. https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/record-wind-output-helps-shield-uk-worst-iran-war-fallout-2026-03-31/ More good news for wind power Fair enough
  15. Doesn't seem to have filtered into realising that trump's little arse licker farage is the same
  16. I'm not sure what would mollify them beyond a ridiculous pay offer. The government hasn't been fighting them, they've had loads. It's time to stop. NHS employees are sick of this. No other section is the NHS is getting anything like what they are. They've even been given the ability to do up to 2 hours a day overtime without employers being allowed to ask them why. They have to give no reason for it, it's just paid, and if anybody tries to check whether they should have, the trust gets a £500 fine each time. It's utterly ridiculous.
  17. Tbh it's amusing how quickly the idea of leaving Europe and focusing on the US has become a lame duck. Happily, Russia have destroyed their own military in Ukraine so the idea they could fight any sort of conventional war against Europe any time soon, even without the US, is for the birds.
  18. I actually think he's picking the right fight. Not sure he's picking the right bit of leverage, but doctors are taking the p at this point. Their wages have gone up on average 17% over the last 3 years which is far more than any other job in the country. While I think public sector wages across the board need to see progress towards at least a degree of restoration if we want decent public servants and services, doctors are misusing their positions in this case imo. They've had so many things given to them recently, I don't understand why somebody that started uni in 2020 thinks their wages should be at 2008 levels.
  19. Never understand why anybody cares what they pay. They need to be competitive in the world in which they operate. I do not buy for one second the idea that the licence fee somehow changes this. It's a similar argument to when people complain public servants shouldn't earn decent wages. We should want the best public servants possible running the country, which means better wages.
  20. Also quite strange whatever has happened to it. Modern aircraft carriers are hugely difficult to sink or damage enough that they'd be in any danger. I think they tried to sink some old carriers by using test munitions etc and it took literally months to sink one, they have so much compartmentalism inside. It's all quite odd.
  21. Tbh maybe we need to see an American loss on the battlefield to take some gloss off their arrogance that they rule the world.
  22. It is accepted across the football world. People know when international breaks are and organise their leave and holidays around them. As I say, you're wrong.
  23. You're entirely wrong. I think you need understand the guy is human. Also, what exactly do you think a manager needs to be doing 24/7? Your post is bonkers, honestly.
