  1. No, you didn't, you're just acting like it.
  2. All this far right nonsense you're coming out with is a bit pathetic TBF. The right is called out as far right when proposing policies which were BNP policies 15 years ago. At no other time. You're really not a victim of left wing over-reaction. As you'll know being as left wing as you are.
  3. Yes, failure to vote sensibly will be the undoing of the left. Clearly there's a centre-left/ left wing majority in the area, but by splitting the vote it could let reform in.
  4. Him and JJ together looks a mouth watering prospect at this level. After the season we've had it's nice to have the flicker of something to look forward to.
  5. It's his first proper season in the team. His breakthrough year. You can't seriously compare him to the long in the tooth pros he's stood next to. He's doing a really good job for his first year. He'll only get better with experience.
  6. This isn't remotely true is it? Capitalism is a system. Being an entrepreneur, having a business, selling things, is not solely related to capitalism. That's a mistake of understanding I often see made. A Harvard study found that innovation has always relied on government support. Government plays a foundational role in driving innovation, particularly in high-risk, early-stage research that leads to major breakthroughs like the internet, GPS, and mRNA technology. While the private sector often leads in applied development and commercialisation, government funding supports a significant portion of foundational patents. At the same time, the UK had the most extreme version of capitalism in Europe, whilst simultaneously having quite a significant number of the poorest areas, and some of the richest. Huge wealth disparities are very much part of late stage capitalism.

  8. Ethical question marks to be raised if you take their batteries out first
  9. Most sensible post. Nothing to add to this.
  10. An element of that yes. But the form of capitalism followed in the US and UK is extreme and directly leads to the problems we see.
  11. Why is it always ultra capitalism US/UK style, or communism? Why do we always ignore the counties operating in between very well? The Scandinavian countries show one way.
  12. We're a country currently luxuriating in stupidity. I saw a social media thread yesterday where somebody has worked all their life, lost their job, and now it's asking how to claim benefits. Somebody else jumped on them as they work for a living and don't ask for handouts. We're a country of people that hate people and would rather see our neighbours fail than get something we don't.
  13. Jesus Christ calm yourself. Leicester has been a cultural melting pot for decades before this occurred, fuelled by liars on both sides and I'd be amazed if right wing agitators aren't also pointed at in the full report. So communities living side by side fine, as we see in Leicester all the time, until agitators whip up problems.
  14. It is, but sometimes it's funny to look at historic posts.
  15. There's unlimited money in the world. It's a human construct which is created out of thin air by central banks. We can have nice things, it's capitalism that's stopping is organising the world fairly because it's entire reason for being it's to fund capital.
  16. Surely we'll need one thing in one division and something else in another. So we can still guess
  17. IF we're in the championship. And IF we manage to unload enough high earners to make spending money a possibility. Harrison burrows from Sheffield United as new left back. Not sure what deal they did for bamford but if it was short term I'd take him in a second.
  18. To think people were cheering James Justin out the door
  19. Seems to do better work off the ball than on it, and does get into decent positions, but his finishing this season has been woeful
  20. Just the president of the United States calling in to a phone in using a pseudonym to complain about the supreme court ruling. Just another normal day in trump's America. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DU_M21yANQu/?igsh=MXBsMHV5eHA3OGdqYQ== John Barron is a pseudonym that Trump has used in the past.
  21. Can confirm it's why I'm excited about it
  22. Missed the first half. Second half we had some fight. Could have won it. Had some shots on target. Still can't defend. But ok, something to work with.
  23. Hard to see how that doesn't leave their economy in disarray in the short term. And they've burnt bridges worldwide.
  24. Good lord there is some quality totty on display athletically right now. Jutta Leerdam, Keely Hodgkinson, Eileen Gu Sorry if already named but a few more pics can't hurt, can it?
