Well I wondered that but Wikipedia is normally so reliable 😏 You're right. It's a chap called Kevin Davies. https://www.lcfc.com/club/senior-management?lang=en

One of the Faceless 8 under Whelan and Rudkin. And considering our strategy has been woeful for 3 seasons now, it's a start. Waiting for tomorrow's announcement that Mr Tumble has been hired to replace him.
-
Nick DeMarco and his team are well known in football for getting results and he's already made the EFL look fools for not knowing their own regulations. That said this would be the greatest comeback since Pele, Michael Caine and Stallone combined to beat the German army on a pitch worse than Seagrave.
-
No but they're in a rebuilding phase. We've seen Brentford even with Toney back slip back down the league. Bournemouth are no great shakes and there's little to fear from the other bottom half clubs. My point is it's not the strongest PL we've faced and nowhere near as evenly balanced as our last relegation season.
-
I hate clichés but it's really 9 cup finals now. Got to be looking at 24-25 pts starting at Ashton Gate.

Could probably still swing a decent cross in for Vards https://celebagents.co.uk/clients/nick-summerbee/

Susan's at home with a can of Pimm's in one hand and reduced to clear cream cake in the other catching up on Big Brother. Totally chilled about the whole thing. If she's not been fired by now she never will be.

We'd be up there with a Solanke-less Bournemouth, a Toney-less Brentford, and the likes of Leeds, Forest, and a.n.other promoted club struggling in the top flight. We'd have a decent chance of fighting it out.
-
It is but I'd rather kick this down the road if that means another ten years up there instead of ten years down here

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

He's looked after every club involved in this, top football lawyer but his bank manager is the one most grateful. -
Better to be up with the revenue streams in place and try to stay up than be down with points deducted and players sold trying to fight our way out of the dead man's league. That took a decade last time.
-
Yes it does, ultimately it's on him but he's got a multi-billion company to look after, we're just one part of that and everyone from Whelan downwards is responsible for the day-to-day running of the club. Let's be honest, Top knows zero about football business and relies heavily on that group of directors to keep this ship afloat. Like I say if, after all this mess is sorted out he doesn't massively reorganise this club then he isn't fit for purpose. The last 2 years have been a harsh business lesson about taking your eye off the ball.
-
It's not Top it's the Faceless 8 on the board. When this mess is done he should be firing each and every one of them for their strategy that's lead the club to this point. If this was Forest or Cov we'd be pi$$ing our pants laughing at their mess. If he doesn't restructure and change the direction of the club going forward then he is fully accountable for what comes next.

There's a few fans on socials laughing that are clearly unaware of their own clubs situation. -
Not sure if you've seen it but there's an Etsy page called Graphibro who does his/their own stickers. A few more niche ones like the Enzo, KDH & Vardy ones might work or even do the designs on t-shirts? I've seen a lot of people comment on stuff like the "Maresca Exceptional" designs too, that sort of brand rebranded stuff.

That's like asking the Loose Women their vew on ending the Middle East conflict. Clappers on seats eh? As opposed to having one shoved in your face as you come through the turnstiles? Got to say I loved the rail seating at Chelsea, definitely helped having a virtually full standing section.

Yeah, that's sort of what I meant but like a lot of people actually explaining this stuff in the right terms is the hard part Everton fans are largely expecting a further 2-3 pts because that 6pts after appeal looks to have set a precedent of 3pts per season. It's also why a lot of the finance experts are unsure if Forest will appeal because based on the Everton deduction they were hopeful of only losing 3 points. So now they've lost 4 points despite co-operating fully it depends how much they want to push their luck. They either need to set a scale of points you will lose based on a % of losses or start using transfer embargoes instead so that appeals don't drag into the close season. -
Leeds are just mirroring how we started the season, 12 out of 13 wins. They didn't find any real form til about November. All they've done is catch up their piss poor start to the season when - lets not forget - a few of their social accounts that are now singing Farke's praises were questioning his position and whether the likes of Gnonto and Bamford should be wearing the shirt. I think most people's predictions were for at least 3 of the top four to be up there and now we're at the business end of the season and those sides are up there the bed wetters have stopped having bad dreams about Southampton's form and are having them about Leeds instead.

You've only got to see him training and in the warm ups etc to see how he is with the squad. On Sunday he went round every player before they went back down the tunnel doing high fives, fistbumps & hugs etc. No-one can get in a players head and tell you if he's impacted them but you also can't say having the players around that have been there and done it is anything but a positive influence. He was on the Monday Night Club on 5Live (seems to be a semi-permanent guest these days) and said that his role at this stage is to be an experienced voice in and around the dressing room and that players like him, Vards, Albrighton & KDH that have done seasons at this level and won the medals along with Harry Winks that have Champions League and top level experience are the calming influence. Was saying the Leeds winning run has been incredible but that the message all along has been that nothing is won until May whether we've had Ipswich, Saints or now Leeds with us in the top 2. I wouldn't go as far as saying he's been treated disgracefully I just find it bizarre him and Winks were the first names on Enzo's shopping list and one has been virtually ever-present and the other has been used less than the white crayon, especially when Faes particularly is having a dodgy run.
-
Coady making the point on The Monday Night Club about Millwall & Plymouth away in the space of 3 days had the player Whatsapp group chat lit up when the news came through and that no decision has been made yet about whether it's even worth travelling back up after the Tuesday game.

To an extent, 90m losses when we've been selling the silver isn't great yet nowhere near the £320m that Everton managed to rack up (pre-adjustments) but what exactly is sustainability? How can Newcastle be owned by Sheikhs and not be sustainable? There's no real prospect of Maranakis taking Forest into administration either and whilst we're under King Power the same applies, we've probably had the most stable financial status in our modern history. All clubs make losses over time but these rules don't allow for long term planning (ie make a loss in year 2 & 3 and return to profit in yr4 etc) and virtually force clubs to sell the academy talent they were supposed to be filling their teams with. These rules are being changed again in the summer because they're still unworkable and almost impossible to implement fairly and within a season-long timescale. Forest went to extremes with their buying across 3 windows but what are promoted clubs supposed to do? Buy Mark Draper & Nicky Mohan and hope for the best? -

Worth remembering that the PL didn't just lump these rules on the clubs, the clubs voted for them. In much the same way as they rejected the EFL deal last week, they all decided these rules and this sort of accounting period & punishments were better. I think PSR sucks but the clubs wanted it this way. -

Of course. It's taken a quarter of a century to get their darlings back in the big league, last thing they want is to lose that again. Anne Davies was an up & coming newsreader when Forest were last in the Premier League. -

No, basically Everton's first punishment is from when the rules were based across a 3 year financial period. Their possible second deduction (and the one Forest got today) relates to last season when the rules were changed to allow earlier punishment for breaches by changing the accounting period. -
Well we weren't. People talk like we spent August-February 10 points clear when we were barely top at all til December. It was only Ipswich drawing 4 out of 6 in Jan that even gave us a lead. People pissing their pants about Leeds in the same way they did Southampton a month ago. They were walking the league til a month ago if you believed the talk on here. April's a long month, let's see how they cope being leaders.
