Get Vardy on.

Pereira is just top class.

Poor decision making Fatawu

It's staggering that it's 2024 and only legal way to watch this game is a diabolical and expensive service which hardly ever works.
-
One of the most underrated players ever, Huth.
-
Him signing here is the best move for him. He's got a massive ceiling, I don't think we will have him for long, but he's not ready for a bigger club and he will play and be trusted here.
-
You can proper tell Premier League footballers live in a weird little bubble and have done since they were about 9. They don't have a clue what else is going on in the world.

Anything with a public phone-in isn't serious journalism. We're effectively at war at Russia and therefore are limiting their direct propaganda. You can still access news from states neutral or friendly to Russia such as India, China, South Africa or Brazil if you really want to know what's going on in Russia.
-
How is Putin's media balanced? It is literally state controlled, controlled by a terrorist state who wants to invade half of Europe. You don't look intelligent like you want to here, you sound the total opposite. You can freely access news from pretty much the entire world to temper your views, we have one of the most independent public news outlets around in the BBC and you can find Russian media fairly easily if you really want and no-one is going to come for you.
-
I mean, I feel like if you wanted to watch Russian media here you'd be able to fairly easily. Question is why would you want to? And why would you want them to be able to earn advertising revenue?

I've always quite liked him and I think this game time is only going to serve him well. Looking at other strikers who are impressing in the PL this season, I think he can step up.

Can we just have a bit of positivity round here now? Maresca is doing a hell of a job.

I think you all need to chill out. It wasn’t worth breaching FFP for. The authorities clearly aren’t pissing around anymore.
-
I don’t think this was ever guaranteed without us selling someone. We’re clearly right on the cusp of breaching FFP. We might still do it, I have no idea either way, but I think if there was no financial issue this would have been done weeks ago. I don’t think we even have £2m to spare in terms of the fiscal rules.
-
We’ll get Nicky Maynard and Shane Long over the finish line before we sign this ****.
-
You catch Jeremy Twunt telling him to **** off there? I'm not a fan of Keir but he's slapped the Tories about there.
-
You mean the furlough scheme that kept millions of people going and is widely regarded as a success? I can argue the difference between corruption and waste as one implies a deliberate attempt to siphon public funds to private individuals for gain, as with the majority of the clearly bogus PPE contracts to Tory donors. I'm not saying there isn't areas in which efficiencies can be achieved but for the most part the NHS achieves great things with inferior funds to other countries where citizens have to make higher contributions to their health care in both taxation and personal expenditure or insurance costs. The constant shitting on it and other public services is used as a smokescreen for people using public money to enrich themselves and if people would put the Daily Mail down and start scrutinising these things properly we'd still have a great country.
-
The wasted money there went to dodgy companies set up-by Tory cronies and has nothing to do with a well-funded healthcare system. That is government corruption.
-
A long hard look at where money goes in this country needs to be taken, it's not public services where the waste is. It's egregious corporate profiteering and corruption. There is plenty of money in the economy, it's the distribution that is scuffed.
-
We spend less in public money per capita than the US, Switzerland, Norway, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Luxembourg, Canada, France, IReland, Australia, Japan, Finland and Iceland. We need more hospitals, community services, diagnostic services and staff.

This is a widespread problem. Not just in football but all walks of life. There's data, and metadata, and meta-analysis of metadata, and there's an expectation that you will conform to the statistical norm. There's a drive towards standardisation. The outcome is that the average shifts in a good way, but there is wildly diminished room for individuality and brilliance. If we're not careful society will lose the exceptional. The other issue is that people are losing the ability to see the wood for the trees. They're so intent on looking for data and trends that they can't see what is in front of them and cannot act without the security of data. My recent experience of managers is that they won't do anything without numbers and won't interact with their employees. They've lost the ability to draw conclusions and challenge data based on their experience.

I do. We've skirted FFP real close and the PL clearly aren't ****ing about with it anymore.

LCFC Vs. Birmingham City (3-0 W) Post Match Thread
Bryn replied to OntarioFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Couldn't watch today but the highlights suggest we were atrocious first half and clinical in the second. Isn't a Vardy goal from an Albrighton cross a wonderful thing to see? Looks onside for his second to me. He's still got quality, Vardy, we don't always use him right but if we do he will still score. Dire Birmingham defending mind. -
Leicester vs Birmingham - FA Cup - Match Thread

I don’t think we have the squad depth for a tilt at the FA Cup, playing the reserves is the right decision and if we get knocked out so be it.
