  1. I'm so impressed any of you still give a shit.
  2. Enzo can **** off
  3. The f ck dude
  4. Pathetic football club. Everyone associated with the decline should be ashamed.
  5. Get them gone. I’ll never go to a football match of any kind again, it’s a disgraceful sport, but those of you who go really ought to boycott.
  6. Please close this thread, it’s all embarrassing enough as it is.
  7. This is how I feel. Hardly post on here anymore, don’t watch the games. Lord knows I’ve watched us when we were shite, when we were asking players to play for nowt, very closely under Levein and Kelly and though the likes of Allen, Megson that came before Pearson. But this is the absolute pits.
  8. Club is broke. KP took an absolute beating in the pandemic and hasn’t recovered. This is why all of you whining about not challenging for promotion are utterly deluded. The priority this season has always been to absolutely gut the wage bill without getting relegated, with gutting the wage bill a higher priority than not getting relegated. The current owners need to cut the liabilities and sell up, it’s as simple as that.
  9. I maintain mid table and sorting our dismal financial situation is an adequate outcome, we’ve not got a pot to piss in and a load of overpaid shite, I never ever thought we’d compete for automatic promotion this season. I’m indifferent about Cifuentes but the idea that sacking him will radically change things without a clear forward plan is braindead.
  10. Sacking him fixes nothing. Keeping him doesn’t either but sacking him is more expensive.
  11. Don’t see the point in getting rid honestly. I maintain the priority for this club is sorting the finances and transitioning to new ownership.
  12. I think Akibiyi would have been handy in Division One tbf. 12 or so a season in a decent team.

    FC 26

Sorry if this has already been discussed. Anyone know if there's any plan to do some thing to commemorate the 10th anniversary of our title win? Special editions of that team would be class.
  14. Where the **** is James taking his corners from ?
  15. I'm no fan of Labour but the objective reality is that that will be a system that originated under the Tories, which Labour have now identified (it's mind boggling that no data is being kept when it's an automated system) and plan to address, and the number of asylum seekers in hotels has almost halved since Labour came to power. But it'll be Farage who benefits because people have no desire to actually critique information anymore.
  16. Here comes the Carranza bashing
  17. Have to make sure he doesn't kidnap the Princess mind.
  18. Is Kasper the best keeper we've had since 1992? I always felt he was a competent rather than exceptional goalkeeper but his value was magnified by his character. I'm a bit too young to fully remember the likes of Keller or Flowers but from what I can remember they were very good goalkeepers and would wonder if anyone had an opinion on whether they might have a shout? I can remember football most from 96 onwards. So those three would be the shout for keeper. Ricardo is clearly ahead for RB, before he got injured he looked an elite wingback to me, I can't think of a deficiency in his game. As others have said we've had top drawer centrebacks over the years but I can't see past Morgan and Huth who routinely shut out the finest attackers the game has ever seen. I think Huth has a shout as being the most impactful signing a PL club has ever made - turned a relegation-destined defence into one that stayed up comfortably then won the league. LB I agree is between Guppy and Fuchs in my life time, I think just because it's uncertain whether Guppy would have the same impact in the current game given the pace it is played at, I'm going with Fuchs. Centre-mids - I'm going Kante (by miles) and Tielemans. Lennon and Drinkwater are unlucky here and shoutout to Cambiasso. I don't remember Garry Parker very well but know he was a big player for us too. Mahrez on the right, obviously. Uncontested. The left wing is possibly our most underwhelming position. It's probably a choice between Albrighton and Barnes, or changing the formation to the 3 at the back we were better known for in the last 90s/early 2000s. I think I'd go Albrighton honestly, I don't think you win that title or get to the QF of the Champions League without him. At 10 - Izzet. A top Premier League playmaker for years in a weaker side than the likes of Maddison played in. One of the most underrated players the PL has seen. And obviously it's Vardy up top. Heskey is your sub. Kasper Ricardo Morgan Huth Fuchs Kante Tielemans Mahrez Izzet Albrighton Vardy Subs: Flowers, Elliott, Lennon, Guppy, Heskey plus however many of the rest of the above you allow depending on era.
  19. 9/10. Shifted lots of expensive shite. Haven't broken the bank. In terms of our current objectives - to be competitive whilst sorting the finances - we've done really well.
  20. I think we've had a really good window.
  21. And this dude apparently.
  22. OH HIS NAME IS LEONARDO
  23. Sounds decent honestly, at least one more signing and I think we've had a good window.
  24. If you're playing two holding midfielders your FBs need to be good going forward.
