  1. Leicester have held talks with Wednesday over a compensation package The Foxes, who parted company with Ruud van Nistelrooy on Friday, have held talks with Wednesday over a compensation package for 36-year-old Rohl who is also of interest to Brentford as assistant to Keith Andrews.
  2. Everyone has been told it, it’s been in the media today
  3. Can’t wait to see what happens down at the king pover in the next few days
  4. Peter Taylor done well with England under 21 squad 25 matches only 2 defeats
  5. 15 times the team scored in 16 games. It’s not a small sample size and before you waffle about vardy going off the boil. Other players got goals too and as pony as they were defensively at least fans got to see the team score. Something RVN fantasied about in his dreams after blank after blank setting prem records.
  6. He didn’t have a full squad he didn’t have Jannick who started the first 2 games or Daka for what’s that’s worth. Out of the 11 games Mads didn’t play. 5 games we didn’t score in, and the defeats were all by 2/3 goals so wouldn’t have made much difference 3 were won 1 was drawn only one game was lost by a single goal from the 11, were he might of made a difference. On his return from injury we got 1 point from 33. As for missing Ndidi, on his return from injury under RVN his first 10 games back we took one point from 30 Both managers were wank, one was considerably worse. Visually watching the games and statistically with the ppg and the horrendous record setting.
  7. But if they went off the boil, is that not down to the manager to get them firing again. Over a sample size of 16 games you can’t be lucky every game to score.
  8. How could he be worse than an atrocious premier league manager record breaker, with a far worse record. Was the squad a a hidden surprise when he took the job
  9. In your opinion Strikers were clinical for 16 games under cooper only not scoring in one match (nearly half a season worth of games) Next manager comes in first 2 games 4 goals, it all turns to shit 16 games with no goals from remaining 25 odd games. Nothing to do with RVN input? and it’s not just the strikers that “can’t hit a barn door” the rest of the team also can’t.
  10. Clutching at straws here strikers being clinical under one manager and couldn’t hit a barn door for another. Nothing to do with the manager then, who just so happens to be a striker.
  11. Baring in mind it was confirmed in the guardian and telegraph not to mention the Athletic that he had interviews for the Burnley job I think it’s safe to say that wasn’t bollocks
  12. 14 matches from 15 games this season we scored under Cooper including cup. Compared to 16 blanks in 26 games under RVN. If little was created under Cooper how do you describe RVN attacking prowess?
  13. Plus left the tag on it
  14. Not necessarily, there are lots of examples of managers that come into clubs and make an impact without spending money. Although he did make an impact, we got progressively worse at attacking
  15. Who is blaming him for the last 4 years? He didn’t have a gun to his head to take the job, given our precarious financial position I find it unlikely that he was promised significant funds. So basically even if it was £20 odd million, the chances are it would been comprised of lower tier Coulibaly type players that are probably worse that those in the starting 11
  16. He didn’t really get dealt a bad hand though did he, He knew the history and knew how much had been spent prior to his arrival. Do you think he was expecting another 100m in January. lets be honest, it’s a dream scenario to suddenly think players were going to be purchased and make a difference under his management our track record is wank. Prior to his arrival £70m was spent and none of it made any difference. Bilal is an example of a good young player but didn’t really make any difference. Ipswich spent £25m on a keeper and Philogene and got Julio Enciso. on loan from Brighton. it didn’t help their cause.
  17. What shouldn’t we believe that we read in the papers
  18. and that one player wasn’t even utilised, because he looked out of his depth. so maybe a blessing in disguise, there was more of them.
  19. It’s runs deeper than that, though nearly 10 years go players were being called snakes. It’s not just the current crop. Maybe Top is to blame because it’s all too friendly with the players
  20. A Foo Fighters song With his back to the camera turns round, and boots a letter G he is holding. Welcome Rohl
  21. Why he was turned down from championship jobs prior to the appointment. He has just made millions from 6 months work. All the previous history was in the public domain regarding PSR and transfers with Rodgers. His record was worse than the previous manager that got sacked. He should feel sorry for what he subjected the paying fans to watch
  22. having a squad good enough to stay up is one thing, setting Prem records for failing to score is another. Was that the worst team in prem history we have seen? No. if it’s all down to the players, whats the point in having a manager
  23. Not to mention a squad that just scored 89 goals in the Championship and some of the most state of the art training facilities. Shit teams have sneaked up through the playoffs and made better attempts at it with less funds.
  24. Nothing to work with? I know it seemed like he fielded a team of reserves but there is no excuse for setting the record for no goals scored consecutive matches. Look how many worse teams there have been over the years and at the very least avoided such a heinous record.
  25. I’m glad he wasn’t given funds we would be in in even worse shape, plus a lot more dead weight the next manager doesn’t want
