Absolutely, every time, seems very one footed.

I wonder if Top takes the same lax approach to his other businesses?
-
10 minutes to kick off and no mention of any opposition for Liverpool? Are we actually playing tonight?
-
🤣🤣🤣 oh yes, of course we are, you think I'd remember that as I've got a season ticket 🤣
-
Photographs outside the Etihad would be a requirement whether you'd got tickets or not now!
-
Yes, I thought that too. Clearly didn't want him very much or it was for something else other than a football role. Or, having now seen training, he's got fed up of him missing the goal their too and having to constantly go and get the ball back. All hail Mr Sitter!
-
After 50 backwards and sideways passes under Rodgers, his Leicester City side, having patiently waited for their opposition defence to all get back in their own half, they then used to stride forward with a purposeful look on their faces. This was counter attacking football ... but very slowly and carefully so as not to wake anyone up. 😁

He was probably the only one when approached that wanted the job! So get rid of him and replace him with who exactly? Who do you rate good enough for this rebuild we haven't got the money for? Don't even think about Moyes or Potter because you know they ain't coming!
-
I absolutely agree with that and think it's our best team available.

Which is several leagues up from Calamity Ward. -
Really? Good for him! A vital part of a great threesome for us! Hope he's well.

Walsh is probably in an old people's home by now!

All this talk of Potter and Moyes? Does anyone not think the club might have made an approach and got rebuffed? Why on earth do some people think they'd jump at the opportunity to manageLeicesterCity? Apart from Potter probably being on an exceptional compensation package from Chelsea which might have been affected, neither of these two, at this particular standpoint in their careers, would want the stain of a relegation on it. Both have a reasonable reputation. Both also probably did due diligence regarding playing staff and board, both probably didn't consider us worth the risk having done that. They probably have far better inside contacts than any of us on here. Cooper and RVN, for different reasons, are at a different standpoints in their careers (more desperate for a job) to Moyes and Potter which is why we probably ended up with them. -
If they sell him the writing is on the wall and there should be huge 'Top Out' chants! 1. Firstly he is on one of a very few Premiership standard that are capable of helping us to stay up. It would absolutely be admitting defeat and showing a total lack of ambition. 2. Financially would it even make sense? Surely there's more chance, if he has to be sold, of a number of clubs coming in for him in the summer.

I agree and that is why Mads is so important to us. I think either of Stolarczyk or Iversen could have done better.
-
Don't think a prime Alex Ferguson could have done much better with some of the tossers RVN has had available and fit the last couple of matches. Ward, Ayew and JJ? There's three shirt carriers if a ever you saw them.
-
Think Private Godfrey out of Dad's Army would be good cover for JJ!
-
In fairness you could dive from there and still get closer to the ball than Ward! If there's a corner or free kick, just before it's taken, put some music on and as the opposition kicks the ball, play musical statues!

Ere ere, match day Balti! -
If Mads is out for this and future games, is anyone aware of how near to a return Stolarczyk is? Is he even back in full training yet?
-
And the goals against Brighton!
-
Last season and now this since he's been back, Vestergaard has been one our best and most consistent players, even against Newcastle when as a team we were outstandingly poor! Do you even go down and watch or have you merely got some irrational deep seated prejudice against him?

Is it true he's still only got one of his own coaches with him? If so I suppose he needs coaches with him that fully understand and know how to coach his methods and tactics plus defensive organisation! If, as he says, he's more Enzo Maresca inclined, then any of Cooper's coaches that are left are more from the Fred Flintstone school of thought! He's not a magician and he won't work miracles overnight. Coupled today with injuries and suspension then there was realistically only ever going to be one result or outcome against a very decent side. Early days but still a very big ask with who we've got available. With a fighting fit Winks, Ricardo and Fatawu and no suspensions it might be a slightly different story but at least two of those aren't going to happen. But, unlike under Cooper, I'm still looking forward to our next match! -
3 reasons you think we could survive
volpeazzurro replied to Nolucklcfc's topic in Leicester City Forum
1. RVN as a manager will at least give us a fighting chance. He will target certain games for 3 points whereas Cooper would have just sat back hoping not to lose. 2. With RVN as manager, we may at least see the odd player willing to come in January that is attracted to working with him. I also think he has the respect of players. 3. When certain injured or suspended players return and possibly with a couple of additions in January, I still think overall we have a better squad than a few of our lower rivals. -
