  1. Interesting that the county cricket ground then was just round the corner on Brazil St/Aylestone Rd. Didn't know that.
  2. I was arrested for impersonating Engelbert Humperdinck yesterday, but the police released me, let me go.
  3. Did you know that after surgery on his back, Quasimodo changed his name to Humphrey?
  4. Sharing is caring mate! When you support LCFC you've got to be positive about SOMETHING! Hope it works out with the meds and life gets a bit more stable for you - outside of supporting Leicester that is, cos that ain't gonna happen.
  5. This thread has mostly been about Trump and Putin. Weird how even paragraphs not about them can apply just as well.
  6. Kids don't seem to play football anymore unless it's a proper organised team v team on a marked out pitch.
  7. It's staggering that he is a Belgian international with 25+ caps.
  8. I thought I saw Shaggy today. It wasn't him.
  9. What a quandary. Who's going to win goal of the month?
  10. Well we've been playing outside the box...
  11. I went to the doctor's the other day about my insomnia. I asked, "is it serious?" He replied, "well there's no need for any alarm."
  12. Damn you, Jean-Marc Bosman!
  13. And on a lighter note... https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cn5xx036p4vo Surely they knew penguins can't fly.
  14. Good way of explaining it.
  15. Me. Work is a major stress factor in anyone's life. If you're central to work, when you get back, maybe they'll appreciate you more. Take some time to reconnect with life, get some nature (highly recommended), sleep until you wake (as opposed to when the alarm goes off), get a hobby, or spend some time doing a hobby you already love. Hope all goes well - take it easy. Oh, and don't watch the football
  16. 3 times. 2 times flicked away and 1 eaten.
  17. The Westerby Cup
  18. No, Ace man. The Top men have been relatively useless.
  19. It's nothing to do with it by the end and you know the final book is never going to happen. In other news, reading Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. Written in the 1930s, it's a scarily accurate vision of the future.
  20. I've come to realise that Trump is in fact Calvin. Remarkably similar hair too.
  21. These protesters I guess will likely get arrested, not pardoned.
  22. Was able to get very close to a Puffin when we went Shetland last year
  23. Fess up, you just can't be bothered anymore.
  24. If it was soaring, it does so with it's wings in a bit of a V. Other birds of prey have their wings out flat. Often it's a case of knowing which birds will be found in which habitat. Is it marshland? Probably a Marsh Harrier. Is it heathland? Probably a Hen Harrier. Also whether they are common in the part of the country. E.G. Puffins are extremely unlikely in Leicestershire. That said birds have wings and can end up where they don't habitually go, so it's not a hard and fast rule.
