Jannik's coming on. Scotland have got this!

As I see it, Scottish guy's feet was on the line, but the fouled Danish player's feet were outside. When he starts to go down, the Dane is outside. I guess it must be the fouler rather than the fouled that counts

I either use someone who comes recommended by a friend or who works out of a known location (ie, has an office that can be called on, rather than just a mobile and email). Fortunately I have lots of family and friends who are good at practical trades and can usually point me in the right direction when I need someone more specialist. One thing that counts big for me is a willingness to comeback and fix little (but reasonable) niggles after the job is completed. I don't expect perfection, but generally I've found tradesmen who take pride in their work and want it to be spot on, even if that means calling back for free. It's the old maxim, you get what you pay for, though their are people who try to charge too much for the job, but do it properly, as opposed to people who charge low, but do a poor job. Often it's best to get a few quotes and plump for somewhere in the middle.

People who regularly purchase from websites such as Temu or Shein have no right to complain about immigrants.

Worse than Jesse Eisenberg? Wow!

Just checked and although they share a common root, there's no evidence to success that people used to swear on their testicles. However, orchids' name comes from the Greek for testicle, as their roots look like testicles.

Given the shows general leaning recently that was probably the Jodie Whitaker incarnation.

Depends what you define as a culture. I guess you could call Al Qaeda a culture if you wanted, but they by no means represent either all Arabs nor all Muslims.
-
That's again, exactly what I said. I double checked and found that exact definition and was satisfied with it. A self serving person puts themselves above others, concerned only for their own needs, such that they think someone else should provide for them. They're not bothered that their garden is messy or fence is broken. They're in their house, the world is outside, it's someone else's problem. Your successes are yours, your problems are for other people.
-
Self serving doesn't mean you take care of things yourself. It means you expect others to do it for you. I'll give that it's unusual phraseology, but that is its meaning.

City of Leicester & Leicestershire - The Good and Historical Stuff

Interesting. Lots of old buildings round there. This is it's location on Google Maps... https://maps.app.goo.gl/GxjQDoYTBP6kb71F7 Go onto street view and you can see how it looks now. -
As someone who gets around a lot of different areas and gets to see many houses close up, I can assure everyone that the descriptions levelled at the Asian community are almost entirety (very few mosques in predominantly white areas) applicable to people of all races. It's more a generational thing in my opinion. As life becomes more automated, people have become more insular and self serving. This is obviously a generalisation. There is increasingly a disparity between haves and have-nots driven by the monopolisation of trades and services into increasingly larger corporations with little to no human interaction. Of course those who could halt the downward spiral don't because money

Didn't see the idea of anti-drone drones touted in that article. Wonder if it's feasible.

Interesting quote from this Reuters article... Does Trump have a defamation case against the BBC? | Reuters https://share.google/dylwAOlNNCOLYXO3R It's difficult to tarnish a tarnished reputation. I don't seem to remember anyone at the actual time it happened reporting Trumps speech as anything but inflammatory (save perhaps a few right wing media). Been trying to find different reports of the riots from the day after, but my searches frequently come up with just the recent BBC Panorama stuff or are behind paywalls.

Great name for a punk band.

Wanting to use fossil fuels is very much a lack of vision and wanting a quick fix with short term gains. I'd be interested to see a venn diagram of people who think we should carry on using fossil fuels and those who think we should sack the manager after 3-4 loses. I reckon there'd be a large crossover.

Alex Ferguson transformed Man Utd into Aberdeen. Arsene Wenger turned Arsenal into Grampus Eight. Bill Shankly turned Liverpool into Huddersfield Town. Vincent Company turned Bayern Munich into Burnley. Rocket science.

You know what.... I'd take that 2011 team over our current lot any day of the year.

Of course the footage is editted. You want to watch the whole 54 minute rant? Wouldn't make great viewing, not least cos he tends to (and in fact does in this instance) repeat himself, either exactly or in paraphrase. Selective editting like this happens all the time. The error here is that it appears seamless. Had there been an obvious editting cut, then I think there would be no argument. Interestingly he said yesterday, "they changed the words coming out of my mouth", which they arguably didn't, just the timing. He has also repeatedly called BBC "fake news", so surely the BBC can counter-sue him for bringing their name into disrepute, which is essentially Trump's claim against them.
