I'm not criticising Maresca at all. I believe in his system and style of play. You can see the players are making incorrect decisions at times.
-
Surprisingly when we get to the byline and whip a cross into the box we score!!! Need more of that from all of our players!! Rather than opting to pass the ball backwards get to the byline and cross the bloody thing.

Make no mistake about it tonights performance was awful. We should have been 2/3 goals down by the time we took the lead. Casadei should not be anywhere near the starting 11 based on what i've seen from him this season. We can't afford to rest our better players when we are suffering from poor form. If we play like that on Saturday we'll be on the receiving end of a big loss.
-
I can honestly see this being our first big loss of the season. We have been very poor recently.
-
Hamza played well today. He looked confident on the ball and wanted it under pressure. Worlds away from the player we seen under Rodgers who misplaced simple passes constantly.
-
Playing the ball around the pitch passively at the back and in midfield to move your opposition around and create space i understand but when we get it in the final third the ball needs to be moved much quicker. Too many players are wanting 3-4 touches before releasing the ball. If we had played first time passes in the final third we could of been out of sight today. I felt for the second game running Maresca didn't make the right changes at the right time. However that is something he has been superb at in previous matches!

If our players were capable of playing what they see first time in the final third we'd have the game sewn up by now. We are taking too many touches and delaying passes that are on. A few times now Iheanacho has peeled off of his defender and been in acres of space only not to receive rhe ball.

A third of the season gone - your thoughts?

We have had an amazing start make no mistake about it. Enzo has performed miracles to get us playing so well in only 4-5 months. The player-fan connection has improved massively and we play some really impressive football. Anyone who genuinely thought that we'd walk every match is off their rocker. Teams will always cause us some problems and we'll gift opponents chances playing the way that we do. The main thing is that we go straight back up and Enzo is well on course to deliver that. -
The defence played well last night. They limited a very talented Leeds attack to very few chances. Our biggest problem as other have already said was in the final third. We didn't create enough at all.
-
We are not going to win every match. Unfortunately we had an off day today especially in the final third but fingers crossed we can kick on again against Middlesbrough. If anyone was asked at the start of the season if they'd take 13 wins out of 15 we'd all jump at that.

I don't want to be too harsh on the lad but he looks well off of the pace in most of the games he has played. All his team mates are playing one or two touch football yet Casadei requires two touches to get the ball under control and then a third touch to pass. Tonight i think Enzo made a mistake playing Casadei. That type of match would of been perfect for Hamza.
-
Time for Casadei to have a rest. His well off the pace.

Exciting news to hear that both Braybrooke and Alves are close to returns. Really hoping that they can both break into the starting 11 this season even if it's only getting some minutes from the bench.
-
I'd love it if Maresca called out the fans for leaving early. Like others have already said Union FS get a lot of stick but you can't fault them for the backing that they give to the team. Really happy Maresca has noticed too.
-
A great opportunity for us to put ourselves 8 points ahead of Ipswich...admittedly they will still have two games in hand but the pressure will be on them to get the results to close that gap again.
-
The improvement in the squad in such a short space of time is incredible. I can only imagine how good we could potentially be in 6 months time.
-
Top level goalkeeper. All of the big sides will come sniffing sooner rather than later.
-
Madness! I don't think i could predict our starting 11 if i tried. I like the unpredictability though. It keeps the players on their toes.
-
Just a little bit too predictable so far. Preston are slowly gaining in confidence so i'd like to see Maresca make some aubs at half time.
-
Players will always flourish in certain styles/formations. We are currently playing a style of football that suits Vestergaard down to the ground and plays to his strengths. Fair play to Maresca for having the balls to reintegrate him back into the first team. Three months ago not many fans were happy with that decision.
-
Would you prefer Hermansen to just lump it long and ask Vardy to try to outjump 6ft+ centre backs? Not quite sure what your issue is with the way we play.
-
I was really excited when Casadei signed but so far he has been really underwhelming. I said in the match thread that he doesn't seem capable of playing two touch football. He is always looking for a third/fourth touch.
-
Can someone send a link my way please
-
Casadei for Winks and Albrighton for Fatawu at half time. In the few appearances that Casadei has made he seems incapable of playing two touch football. He always wants/needs an extra touch.
-
I would always look to keep Vardy even if he only plays the last 20 minutes of matches next season. His experience will benefit any young strikers we have and his attitude is bang on. It's important to keep players like him around.
