  1. 4-4-2 Hermansen Ricardo Coady Vestergaard Justin Fatawu Ndidi Winks Mavididi Iheanacho Vardy None of the inverted full back b*llshit! Where we end up having KDH, Winks, Ndidi and Ricardo all within 15 yards of each other congesting the same area making 5 yard passes which end up getting us absolutely no where. The opposition just stand off and allow us to do it now.
  2. Completely appreciate that we have no right back but that shouldn't stop Faes from going out to the danger. He has spent his pro career as a defender and should know how to do the basics
  3. The defending by Faes for their goal is abysmal. School boy stuff actually.... close the gap and narrow the angle yet Faes does the exact opposite allowing their player to almost get to the 6 yard box. It's mind boggling stuff.
  4. I could forgive Enzo if he was trying different formations/personell yet nothing was working but the fact he is sticking with the same players and a formation/tactics that has been well and truly found out is unforgivable.
  5. Now is the time for Enzo to make a couple of subs
  6. Get Daka off! FFS
  7. We are proper shite. This will end 1-0. **** off with the short corners.
  8. Would love to see Enzo actually change it up and bring on Vardy and Cannon together. We make some strange decisions at times. Like the commentary team said it's almost like we want to score the perfect goal. The cross that Fatawu chipped he should be nailing that low and hard towards goal. Sometimes you do need to just hit and hope.
  9. Sounds harsh but he reminds me of Dean Lewington at MK Dons...very good left footed player who is brilliant on the ball but a lack of pace will always stop him from playing in the Premier League. In the long run i think Doyle will end up spending his career in the Championship/League one etc I'd love him to prove me wrong though.
  10. Giles is almost trying to gift Leeds 3 points here. Backed out of contesting a header for the goal and then just allowed Bamford to have a free shot at an open goal
  11. Same sh*te different day.
  12. Akgun/Praet Madivadua Albrighton Coady Ricardo
  13. I believe that played a huge part in our early success. No one was guaranteed their spot. Currently our starting 11 is too predictable. A few players need dropping KDH, Choudhury, Faes, Fatawu, Mavididi etc
  14. Around the 60-65 minute mark we were well on top and it would've been the perfect chance to make a couple of subs. Instead Maresca is sat on his hands at the side and waits until we go 1-0 down. It's beyond frustrating. If teams have figured us out then we need to try new formations/tactics/systems not simply stick with one that is failing us. Some of these players have it too easy. The likes of Vestergaard, Faes, Fatawu, Mavididi, KDH etc they all know that their spot in the starting 11 is guaranteed.
  15. I don't want to hear the 'this is football, it can happen' b*llshit. As a manager if things are not working you need a different plan or to try different tactics. You can't be so ignorant to believe that plan A is the only plan and stick to it regardless of shite performances.
  16. Ricardo coming on 15 minutes too late. What a sh*t show.
  17. ****ing knew it. What a joke. ****ing so annoying how predictable we are.
  18. We coild play for 5 hours and still not score.
  19. Maresca is killing us here by not making a change. Bristol have brought on a number of fresh players and it'll work in their favour.
  20. Surely we'll see Ricardo for Choudhury soon...
  21. It's uninspiring to say the least. I'd be tempted to try to get Winks on the ball further up the pitch ! At the moment we are lacking any creativity and he could help to solve that problem.
  22. I think if you speak with some Ipswich fans you'll probably find that Mckenna has his faults too. Fans of other clubs probably fail to believe that we sit second in the league yet despite that a fair portion of the fan base question Enzos decisions. Would Mckenna take a backwards step to join us if Enzo walks? We are hardly an attractive proposition...potential points deduction/fines/transfer embargos... I can't see many managers being desperate to join us unfortunately.
  23. I can't state how important it is to have as many leaders in the side as possible in these last set of games. The likes of Coady, Winks, Ricardo, Vardy will be hugely important to us and help us get over the line. On another note Keown hit the nail on the head today when he said that the bounce passes between Winks, Ndidi, Choudhury etc look good on the eye but they are ineffective. They need to be progressive passes. I'd like to see Enzo work on this in the international break and encourage more forward passing. We need to make our opponents turn around and have to defend rather than allowing them to just sit in their formation whilst we pass it side to side infront of them.
  24. Having 3 slow defenders on the pitch against a fast attack was a massive risk to take and it back fired on Enzo. We went two goals down because of that decision but then managed to get back into the game through a flukey own goal and a great finish by Mavididi. The red card has killed us today. Just as the Chelsea fans were turning against their own side aswell! Mavididi was just gaining confidence and started to run at his full back but then had to be hauled off. Dewsbury-hall was brilliant today aswell as Winks. Both of those two look like premier league players. Ricardo is a massive miss for us in the inverted full back position.
  25. Shocking defending. It'll be 5/6-0 if we keep defending like this. Enzos decision to start 3 slow players at the back has killed us here.
