  1. Started sloppy. Now we'll get exposed trying to desperately find an equaliser.
  2. Was brilliant against Liverpool yet poor today so far. Needs to pass the ball much quicker. Winks is putting him to shame.
  3. Wingers need to trust themselves and attempt to beat their man. Both got pace in abundance but yet to see either attempt to go past their full backs 1v1. Think JJ would have more of a go than McAteer has. If we want to break Coventry down then we need to move the ball much faster. Similar to the last chance we just created
  4. Wingers need to trust themselves and attempt to beat their man. Both got pace in abundance but yet to see either attempt to go past their full backs 1v1
  5. Release the ball a little quicker when we get into the final third and ill be happy. Dewsbury-hall has kept the ball too long at times
  6. One of those players where it doesn' bother you if he makes the starting 11 or not. I have never really felt like he adds anything to the side and the same goes for Praet
  7. Probably the ones which were saying it would be announced Monday still 6 hours left of Monday though
  8. Watching that today i think it'd benefit us if we loaned in a couple of youngsters from Man City or Liverpool to play on the wings. They would already be playing a similar style to what Enzo wants to play so wouldn't have to adapt too much. Albrighton is not suited to this style of football both him and Castagne gifted the ball to the opposition too easily on numerous ocassions.
  9. If Ndidi could finish he would of bagged himself 5 or 6 goals in pre season. Literally the last player you want infront of goal yet he keeps ending up in great positions and fluffing each chance!
  10. I'm feeling confident for the upcoming season but that's largely because of Enzo and what he has achieved in such a short space of time. Considering he has only been in control for a month to play like we did in those first 30 minutes with an incomplete squad is a great achievement. Hermansen is a breath of fresh air in goal and Doyle/Winks look like great additions also. Do i feel valued by the club... no i haven't done for years. Look at how they have treated the thai fans on this promotional tour compared to how they treat the fans spending thousands each year!
  11. I hope this is true and we manage to get him. Exactly the sort of player that would fit perfectly into Enzos side as heis used to this style of play already.
  12. Luckily for us Cov will not have the same quality with or without the ball that Liverpool just did. This style of play will take time to adapt to. it's glarily obvious to most fans that we lack wingers and anyone creative. I am just hoping that we recruit for those positions asap.
  13. He'd struggle to get a game for the Dog and Duck at this rate. Abysmal showing from him today.
  14. Passed the ball around well in spells. It's a completely different style of play to last season but much more exciting to watch. It will take time for the players to fully adjust however It doesn't help when players like Castagne can't find feet with a 5 or 10 yard pass He has had a stinker.

    Wilfred Ndidi

I forgot he was only 26! He should still have his best years to come. I'd love to see Maresca try to keep him here and get him playing at his best again.
  16. Not really quite the same. Ricardo has suffered some serious injuries during his time with us. Evans just looks like he doesn't fancy it.
  17. Would be an awful decision to let him go. I'd much prefer Castagne to leave.
  18. He'll do really well under Howe! Can see him getting into the England side on a regular basis now. Good luck Harvey!
  19. Personally it doesn't bother me one little bit that we are overseas. The club can have their pre-season anywhere they feel fit. It's the way the players are interacting with the Thai fans compared to how they interact with the fans that pay thousands of pounds to watch them week in week out that gets to me
  20. I agree with all of the above but it also hit home yesterday when i seen the clips of the players high fiving all the Thai fans and blasting footballs into the crowd....i can't remember the players ever interacting with the fans that follow the side up and down the country/europe like that It does make you wonder how much the club actually appreciate us as supporters.

    Evans

Literally one of his old managers said he had to trick Evans into playing him by telling him he wouldn't be in the squad all week!
  22. Really happy with the transfers in so far! You can see that Maresca has a plan in place. For once i am actually really excited by our managerial appointment. He is looking to play football how it should be played.
  23. Yes please! Watched him a few times last season and he ripped teams apart. Probably destined for a premier league side this season.
  24. Only seen glimpses of yesterdays performance but a few things really impressed me from the first half. -Coadys leadership -Players being happy to receive the ball anywhere on the pitch even when under pressure. -Winks looks extremely comfortable on the ball I watched the Cobblers a lot last season. They don't create many chances so it was never going to be a really tough test for us but like others have said it is about getting players the minutes in their legs.
