Madness! I don't think i could predict our starting 11 if i tried. I like the unpredictability though. It keeps the players on their toes.

Just a little bit too predictable so far. Preston are slowly gaining in confidence so i'd like to see Maresca make some aubs at half time.

Players will always flourish in certain styles/formations. We are currently playing a style of football that suits Vestergaard down to the ground and plays to his strengths. Fair play to Maresca for having the balls to reintegrate him back into the first team. Three months ago not many fans were happy with that decision.

Would you prefer Hermansen to just lump it long and ask Vardy to try to outjump 6ft+ centre backs? Not quite sure what your issue is with the way we play.

I was really excited when Casadei signed but so far he has been really underwhelming. I said in the match thread that he doesn't seem capable of playing two touch football. He is always looking for a third/fourth touch.

Casadei for Winks and Albrighton for Fatawu at half time. In the few appearances that Casadei has made he seems incapable of playing two touch football. He always wants/needs an extra touch.

I would always look to keep Vardy even if he only plays the last 20 minutes of matches next season. His experience will benefit any young strikers we have and his attitude is bang on. It's important to keep players like him around.

Casadei is flat footd every time he receives it. He ends up slowing us down.

Could not of predicted that even if i tried. Hopefully the players coming in appreciate the opportunity and try to prove a point.

We'll shoot ourselves in the foot here. Doyle has me on the edge of my seat for all of the wrong reasons.

To be fair Maresca had to recruit heavily in these positions. Wanya and McAteer are young lads who have never really played week in week out infront of thousands of fans so he can't be sure as to how they'll cope with the pressure or even if their performances will be to the required standard. Albrighton is coming to the end of his career and then we've got the 3 new lads.

Like many posters have said already their was plenty of stoppages today aswell as a number of subs yet only 3 minutes added on The refs need to be consistent with added time as todays additional minutes were a farce!

I wouldn't say he has cost us goals nor is he inconsistent but he is definitely uncomfortable in 1v1 situations. He has been left for dead on a few ocassions now.

I see plenty of fans on social media comparing todays performance to what we endured under Puel and Rodgers It's not even close to being as bad as that! The football we play under Maresca is enjoyable to watch. It's evident he has a plan and he has worked wonders to get the team playing the way we are in just over 2 months.

Strong, fast, skillful and direct all the essential attributes that a winger should have. Impressive in his short cameo but if he can keep that up then he'll be one to watch for sure. If he can bring that to the pitch everytime he plays then teams will double up on him leaving lots of space for other players to exploit.

Really?? I find it fascinating that so many of us can watch a match but see something completely different. I thought he defended poorly and as i said in another thread teams will look to expose him in 1v1 situations. His ability to play out from the back is exceptional. He looks to play passes not many other defenders would attempt but defensively he has been found wanting in a couple of games now.

Pre-season against Liverpool is the best i have seen him play for us. He moved the ball quickly and played 1-2 touch football. So it makes me question why in league matches he seems to always require an extra touch or insists on holding onto the ball for 5 seconds too long.

We played well today. Hull barely threatened and were fortunate to score an early goal and then defend for the rest of the match. We created enough good opportunities to have come away with the 3 points however the execution was poor from several players. We could of played for 180 minutes and not scored today. It was just one of those days. I do fear that in future matches teams will look to expose Doyle. It is concerning how easy it is to get past him in 1v1's. All in all i'm happy with the way things are progressing under Maresca. We will suffer results like todays but we will also wipe the floor with some sides.

If we could get Chair and Cannon in whikst shipping Soumare and Daka out that would almost be a perfect window.

Gutting that it looks unlikely we'll sign Chair. He looks like a quality player and someone who would fit perfectly into our side.

A real strong 11. I'd love to see us go in at half time a couple of goals to the good and then rotate a few players.
