  1. 3-4-1-2 Stolarczyk Nelson Vestergaard Okoli Fatawu Winks James Mavididi Monga Daka Carranza We need our most creative players on the pitch together. Having Fatawu, Mavididi and Monga on the wings and centrally will provide us with more of a threat.
  2. When he came on he reminded me of a child playing at their local park! He was trying to take on 2-3 players at once and then decided to take every corner that we won despite his set pieces being woeful!! Genuinely, my 11 year old son whips in a better corner than Ayew and he can put it in the same area every time. I find it astonishing that a professional footballer can be so bad at set pieces.
  3. First game he looked half decent. Now he looks like he couldn't trap a bag of cement.
  4. Shocking substitutions that ultimately cost us the win. That result has actually p*ssed me right off. Their was no need for Skipp to come on tonight. In our build-up play, we move the ball with no urgency whatsoever. How many times did Stolarczyk have the ball in his hands with the opportunity to get us on the counter attack, but instead, he slows things right down! It wasn't just him, though. Multiple players are guilty of it. Continuously playing backwards despite forward passes being available. ITS BORING. Unfortunately, we are heavily reliant on our wingers producing moments of magic due to our strikers being absolutely dog sh*t but by the time they actually receive the ball at their feet 9 times out of 10 they have two men defending against them. It's also starting to feel like Marti subs Monga, regardless of how good he is playing
  5. Someone tell Mavididi that we need to attack. All he has done so far is play the ball backwards.
  6. It's too little too late from Marti. He should've gone for the kill just after half time. Instead, he tried to play safe, and he has cost us massively.
  7. I have zero sympathy for Marti. The subs we made were negative. We could easily lose this
  8. You have hit the nail on the head. Starting Ayew every week is absolutely baffling. Unfortunately he doesn't pose much of an attacking threat! I would prefer to see Mavididi upfront with Monga and Fatawu playing on either wing.
  9. Please bring Ayew off and get Monga on
  10. Ayew poses no threat upfront. It baffles me how he manages to start consistently week in week out upfront. Put Mavididi upfront and bring Monga on asap.
  11. A breath of fresh air when he came on. Ayew is too negative upfront and more often than not he will hold the ball up only to end up playing it back to a defender. All of Carranzas touches were into the path of a midfielder who was making a progressive forward run. It made a massive difference!
  12. Outstanding! Everything he did today was at pace. He looked to break lines constantly and was always providing an option to those around him. His link up play with James and Soumare was superb.
  13. The best football I've seen us play for a long time to be honest. Some of the build up play was a joy to watch! I also love the fact that James looks to play forward 90% of the time. Winks, Fatawu, James were all superb today.
  14. This game is crying out for Monga
  15. Justin came here with huge potential but injuries always seemed to prevent him from fulfilling that potential. Last season he was constantly out of position and was made to look very average on almost a weekly basis. Good luck to him. I hope he does well at Leeds.
  16. We lack creativity. It's as simple as that! We are heavily relying on Fatawu or Monga to produce a bit of magic because our striker poses no threat at all. Winks on for Skipp please and Ricardo for Choudhury.
  17. Those corners today were dreadful! Seriously, how can a professional footballer over hit a corner consistently and clear the 18 yard box
  18. He's one of those players that I've always struggled to like. He offers nothing as the lone striker and as I said in another thread we don't need to sign a world class striker but at the very least we should be bringing someone in who can score goals on a regular basis at this level.
  19. I think I've just had enough of watching the same lads start each week regardless of their performances on the pitch. The end of last season became unbearable to watch! I'd love to see a number of our most talented academy lads starting week in week out. They will be desperate for the chance to pull on the shirt and prove a point.
  20. Best midfielder or not it's time to move the ****ing baby on.
  21. If it's a choice of watching that side or watching a side that contains Ayew, Vestergaard and Soumare then I know what I'd prefer!
  22. Stolarczyk Okoli Nelson Faes Winks (if he's stopped sulking) Fatawu Bilal Page Monga Mavididi New striker
  23. The fact that the club gave Ayew the number 9 should've told us everything that we needed to know about any potential transfer activity. Having a player like Vardy wearing the number 9 only for it to be passed on to Jordan ****ing Ayew is beyond me! It wouldn't surprise me at all if we fail to make any signings. What a mess we are in! To make it worse no one takes any accountability for it!
  24. Vestergaard is too slow for my liking When he's left 1vs1 he gets done for pace every time.
  25. Monga and Faes have to start! It's inexcusable not to start them both in our next match. Winks attitude absolutely stinks and that situation needs sorting ASAP. A prolific striker is a priority. I'm not asking for a worldie of a striker but atleast get someone in who looks like he's capable of scoring a goal ffs!
