Yeah man, especially Fenerbahche - go through their squad and there's Kante, Talisca, Ederson, Asensio, Semedo, Skriniar, Fred amongst others— I doubt they're on a pittance. We aren't dealing with miserly Serie A loan with option merchants, I'd say if a player is linked with one of the bigger sides in Turkey it's encouraging for flogging them from our side

I think it's more likely Fenerbahche buy him outright for a low fee. I don't think we'd wind up subsidising his wages or anything.

It's not been a bad World Cup, and I'm hoping now the knock outs are properly up and running it'll catch fire a bit - already been a couple of good games - but there were so many group stage games and the entire period lacked any jeopardy at all, 72 games in that period where nigh on everyone had a safety net. The fault of FIFA as opposed to the host nations though. It just hasn't grabbed me yet like Russia or even Qatar did.
