  1. Had to pay £1.25 for an onion in Sainsburys. Absolute ripoff!!
  2. We had one given against us just like that first penalty shout for Forest earlier in the season. Tiny amount of contact if any and an exaggerated fall. Ref didn't hesitate and VAR backed him up even though it looked like there was no contact.
  3. Just in the snooker club this afternoon and Dave is back in here practising. Says beating Brecel is a big confidence boost and he feels he can give any one a game now. I'd fancy him to beat either Milkins or Pang tbh.
  4. It's too small for such a major prestige event nowadays. And if it's getting a bit dilapidated and rhe players aren't particularly happy then that's all the excuse Hearn needs to move it somewhere else and take the big money on offer. I don't want to see it move abroad though.
  5. Not at all. I watched Jessica Jones S1 and that was it. None of Luke Cage/Iron Fist. I haven't missed anything. My mate watches them all and is a huge Marvel fan and let me know of any crossover info and there was practically nothing.
  6. I had two in on Saturday as mentioned but nowt yesterday. As you said, lots of favourites romping in over the weekend.
  7. It's not even shithousery it just a lack of class and self awareness. In contrast Maguire went over and shook their hands.
  8. Nantes should send them a cheque by carrier pigeon and state they give it a 54.2% chance of getting there.
  9. Definite pen tbh.
  10. Well, Florence Pugh in the nip was a definite bonus.
  11. It's a risky one though as he's already 28 and has never had a high scoring season before at any decent level. You have to be wary of one good season or just fitting a side/formation perfectly that can't be replaced elsewhere.
  12. I've always preferred people like Allen, Murphy, Perry, and Dale over the old boys like Virgo and Taylor. Davis is just rubbish and as boring as he was to watch. Hendry is still my favourite as he understands the mentality of the game so well. Ronnie is half decent when he does it for Eurosport, and apparently Robertson is having a go at some point this week having not qualified.
  13. Great stuff from Joe.
  14. Yes you deserved it overall, never really had to get out if second gear. We combated well but didn't have the personnel to punish anything. Yes Neto has struggled in recent seasons with his hammys. I'd still want £60m+ for him though. £80m if he had no injury issues.
  15. Aye I play there every week, and for the club in the local leagues. He's from Tamworth and used to practice regularly over there before he co-bought Potters.
  16. Go on Dave my son!! Weird concession at the end there as you say.
  17. Banker picks were good today for a change. Only one let me down, annoyingly in a frozen acca just waiting for a £218 return And I had another 5 accas that could have come in if the outsider scored first as well.
  18. Back with a bang! Only dilemma now is do I use that bank to go full out £20 max stakes and try and mullah them until the end of the season or they stop me? Whichever comes first. Hey hey Skybet mother****er!!
  19. Yep we gave it a good go, and maybe with Neto, Cunha and Ait-Nouri all playing we might have got something. They basically got lucky with the first goal and nicked one at the end. Didn't play that well at all.
  20. Was about to lament the fact that all the favourites have scored first today, then Cardiff pop up with a winner to give me a great chance of £200 return if Paris FC beat Valenciennes at home later. Also had late goals from Scunthorpe and Doncaster jeep a few accas alive too.
  21. They play us next weekend at Wolves....... And I'm going........ 0-1 it is.
  22. Why? 1 point off safety and no guarantee Forest will win their games. Yeah they're in poor form but nothing is any where near settled yet.
  23. He used to be a central midfielder when younger (we bought him to Wolves as a CM) and was often in the top of the PL for diagonal balls over the top.
  24. Stan Collymore has plenty to say on it. And surprisingly for him makes some decent points.
