Big Wolves fan is Clint, and he's a member of a private Wolves forum I'm part of. Sound bloke.

I only saw the first session but Trump was well below his usual standard. Lots of missed balls.
-
The first one on Cucurella definitely wasn't a penalty. The second was, just clumsy from behind and bundled him over.

They've now measured with precise accuracy that the expansion of the universe is definitely getting faster over time. https://amp.theguardian.com/science/2024/apr/04/biggest-ever-3d-map-universe-dark-energy-data-scientists This points (IMO) to Dark Energy being an insltrinsic and cumulative property of space-time. More space = faster acceleration.

Nunes isn't a patch on Palmer. Thinks he's better than he is. Was good at Sporting but was a big fish in a small pond and league. One of those players that thinks he can swan round the pitch and not work for his success.

Ugh. Volendam 0-0 Feyenoord. Ruining both my accas in one fell swoop as I had one team in each.
-
Definitely. I've also had Vollendam at home to Feyenord, also @ 22/1.

Well no, because you can see their face and hear their delivery. It doesn't matter if the words are 100% correct. That's the main reason I scoff at people who prefer to watch dubbed versions.

Yep CSKA Sofia ruined mine earlier in the day. 1/3 shot at home.
-
Heracles (13th) beat AZ Alkmaar (4th) last night 5-0 at home! They were 7/1 shots pre kickoff. But the best thing about it is the name of one of the guys who got two goals for Heracles - Jizz Hornkamp 😅

Shogun has indeed been great. The actor who plays Mariko has been superb.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

£200m wage bill. Kin hell how have you managed that? -
I've got two of my mates onto it now. They both lost yesterday (only putting on one acca) but can see me winning at it so they'll keep trying.

No idea unfortunately. They'll likely do whatever benefits teams like Chelsea and Man City. -

AFAIK it means every year you have to be within the 70% figure. Not sure what leeway club's will get in the transition to that from the current rules. -
I had all of Harrogate, Estrela, Luton, Hoffenheim, Heidenheim, NEC and Estoril. The last two I didn't even freeze because Chelsea had already done in my accas for them. VK Plzen let me down in the others at 1.33. Annoyingly my Heidenheim acca came in yesterday but I apparently couldn't freeze it as I'd already used my 5 for that week because I'd done a couple of midweek ones. Typical that the 4 other legs in that one all win easily by 2 goals. Grrrr. I assume the "week" runs Monday to Monday.

I was supposed to be playing end of last month but it got called off because of the wet weather. Now playing in two weeks at Six Hills so hopefully it dries up a bit over there.
-
Chelsea's turn to be the one to let me down yesterday and ruin 3 frozen accas. £230 missed out on because they concede a late equaliser to Burnley at home FFS. Three weekends in a row I've been done out of multiple accas by one team. Punishment for having the gall to win 3 in one day I reckon!

Kane, Toney and Watkins should all be on the plane. Rashford is shite but I suppose he covers for that left attacking role so will likely go.

Watched the new Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire yesterday lunchtime. A whole lot of average/disappointing. They had the perfect setup of new and old characters and also being back in New York. Plus a reasonable plot to go off. But it just falls flat. The big bad guy is built up all film but is a big let down and essentially does bugger all. And the personal stories with the kids just lurch from one scene to another with very little narrative to it. It just ends up being way too clunky and tries to do too much with all the characters. Oh and a lovely bit of virtue signalling at the end which was unnecessary and felt completely out of place. I watched the previous film, Afterlife, on BBC the night before and it was much better than this was.

This game and the loss to Coventry is all down to lack of recruitment exacerbated by injuries. We've had two different 18 year olds leading the line for us in these two games, and then a bench full of kids. If your three first choice attackers are all injured at the same time then you're screwed basically, and relying heavily on a left back to put a chance away, which he couldn't do.

The ref stopping play so Diaby can break his fast for Ramadan is a new one! Let him go off if he wants by all means, but stopping the game is just daft.

Just ends up being really scrappy like a club match.
