Agreed. I read this morning that Tesco have made record profits for the last year, nearly 3 times as much as the previous year. They're just the same as energy companies, using the world conflicts to increase prices and profiteer whilst complaining about rising costs. All at the expense of the customers who are struggling to make ends meet.

Agreed. Been a real pisser tonight as two early teams let me down in my four accas. Then you have to sit and watch as 3 out of 4 big priced teams score first, and I can't do a damn thing about it. Oh well at least I didn't freeze them all first then late teams let me down as that would have wasted 3/5 for the week. Still frustrating seeing that potential £380 from those three sitting there taunting me though. The key to this is definitely picking the 4 short priced teams. Midweek nights are hardest because there's just less games and you have to take a couple of punts ultimately. I call them "Banker willy pullers" now when they inevitably let me down

5 women playing today and tomorrow morning - Mink, Bai Yulu, Reanne Evans, Baipat and Rebecca Kenna. It'd be great to see one of them through to the main draw, but there are some good players qualifying this year. Lisowski, Bingham, Maguire, Vafei, Robertson, Gilbert, Day, Guodong. There's 8 already that really should be good enough to be one of the 16 to make it through. Also looks like Martin Gould has pulled out as he was scheduled to play Jimmy White this morning but Jimmy has been given a walk-over to round 2.

Qualifying starts today Sheffield. They are offering £40k for a 147 at The Crucible this year, on top of the £15k highest break prize. I think we'll see one. There's been plenty of near misses in the tournaments recently.

It's just a place that was setup after a few of them got fed up with a certain public forum back in the day. They made it invite only for the so called "good" posters. It was a bit clicky but now there's just a few people on there, one of whom has a good ITK contact within the club and he can post it safely on there.

We've got Forest away next week. Would be nice to get a win there but they're playing us at the right time when we've got injuries. And they need the points more than we do so will be well up for it on top of the Gibbs-White + Nuno factors.

I've made about £500 in 5 weeks. Though I did top up the account with about £40 when I got short on funds after my first withdrawal. I've still had a few punts on regular accas as well mixed in so I guess £100 a week plus a few mug punts is keeping the account looking not too suspect as of yet. I think I'm gonna up it to £4 from here on in though see how much extra I can make. I'll just do it bit by bit nice and slow, not just start whacking £5-£10 per acca.

Yes as you can see above I had to pick some really short prices to guarantee the wins. I only fancied one or two above 1.3-1.4. Meant the returns weren't quite as big and I had to up it to a massive £4 in some cases!
