  1. Because the FA are probably still on their Christmas piss up. Or we've appealed and they have to wait to hear any new evidence. Dunno.
  2. Wallace & Gromit was decent. Plenty of nods to the original film.
  3. Good. Potato headed retard.
  4. Nuno is a great manager. It's a shame he ran out of steam with us as Covid destroyed him and his morale due to not being able to see his family. I enjoy seeing him doing well again as he's a top bloke. Just a shame it's with Forest.
  5. Surely you want Man City to get a token win against a bottom side out of the way so they can go back to being garbage when they play you.
  6. I went to Imge with some old work pals last year and the Snibstone, Engine and Monkey Walk were all still there IIRC. I think we ended up in the Engineers actually doing some terrible karaoke
  7. Hey, I worked in Coalville for over 20 years and have visited the many pubs in the area including all around the clock tower. I'm fully qualified and confident in my comment! Particularly in the old Stamford pub, which ironically was run by Wolves fans
  8. Was it about being inbred?
  9. Texans don't know how to stop Derrick Henry. Just beasting through their line.
  10. Did he have no staff at PSV though? I'm sure they would have moved to the Prem if the offer was there.
  11. Baileys has dairy cream and other milk products in it. And you also eat cheese too... Hard to see how you could have a genuine lactose intolerance and consume both of those.
  12. Baileys is shite, overpriced, and has a nasty bitter aftertaste. White Russians are a miles better version of the drink. Especially if you use single or double cream instead of milk.
  13. I bought £10k of Tesla shares in Dec 2022 which have done very well for me. Bought in at $170 and they are currently at $430 (after dipping back down from $470 recently thanks to US banks interest rates cuts). I only wished I'd waited a bit longer to buy in as shortly after I did, Musk bought Twitter and they dropped right down to $110. Oh well, can't complain at that return so far though, and they should keep going up for a bit more too with Trump voted back and Musk involved in US politics in order to get loads of business breaks. I used to use Stake for my holding but they switched us all over to Freetrade after Stake stopped trading in the UK last month. The new one seems fine to me so I'll stick with it for now.
  14. Anyone watch the Xmas Bullseye special with Freddie Flintoff? It's on ITVx now. Was quite a good laugh with the lads from Yorkshire and Luke Littler guest stars on it too. Flintoff's Top Gear accident has made a right mess of his face though, poor bloke.
  15. The problem with that is your average fan is an idiot. You'd have to go to the supporters club to make sure you got some sensible ones.
  16. The lack of staff thing is bizarre. We sacked all of O'Neil's staff and the new manager has brought 5 people with him who he says are vital to his work. And that's coming from a club trying to do it as cheap as chips and claims to have no money. So for Ruud not to bring anyone with him is odd to say the least. Maybe he burned his bridges at PSV when he left for Man Utd and he hasn't got a clue how to replace them.
  17. This guy Nebrida is like watching paint dry.
  18. Can't quite believe what I've seen today. That's probably the worst I've ever seen you play in one of our games in well over a decade. Kudos for finding a GK and CB combo worse than ours. It was like watching us a couple of weeks ago. Zero confidence, lots of huff and puff, but very little threat all over the pitch. Sad to see really as it means we are now in a direct fight with you for that last relegation place. I'd much rather we both stayed up so hopefully Palace will fall into it with any luck. Of course we'll be missing Cunha for a few games which won't help us either. As for us we didn't pull up any trees or anything today, and I supposed we didn't have to as you gifted us the first two goals. But I thought we knocked the ball around decently and at least looked threatening at times. I thought our CM dominated for the most part and won the ball back time after time. The chaos at the back was much reduced and the new manager seemed to manage the game well in the 2nd half in terms of slowing it down and trying to keep the ball to see the game out. Big questions for Ruud, and whilst you'll improve once Hermansen is fit again you seem to be in the same boat as us in that we need a decent CB and maybe even a LB.
  19. Is Callan Rydz wearing a syrup? 😂
  20. We're under no illusions. One turkey doesn't make a Christmas.
  21. There's the 1. Your 3 goals coming up soon now. Coady and Vestegaard not exactly covering themselves in glory. You say we've been on the floor all the time, we'll stop fouling us. Some really dodgy late challenges going on from you and could have had a couple booked already. Definitely the most "physical" style against us I've seen you for a good while.
  22. I was going to say the same tbh. Vardy will score in a 3-1 win for you.
  23. We're not happy with our team either. Though more out of lack of choice defensively tbh. Doherty at LB is nausea inducing. It'll be something like this. ..........................Sa Semedo - Bueno - Toti - Doherty ................Andre - J.Gomes .......Guedes - Cunha - R.Gomes ......................Larsen Add to that both Vardy and Ayew love a goal against us, then it'll be whoever has the shittest defence that loses the day. Oh and it's Coady's first game against us since 2015 when he was at Huddersfield.
