all depends on where you see your goals coming from, playing away from home against a team above you in the league, it’s likely we will need someone to play with their back to goal so we can catch them on the break and play others in. He’s not got the pace to be hitting them on the break himself. If he scores, I’d imagine it will be because he’s arriving into the space created by the wingers taking the ball to the line and passing back.

Millwall are 4th, we’re 9th and we’re away from home so we might not play them off the park exactly, but I’m still hopeful of a win..

yes he does do this. But watch the game. He actually passes more than people realize and this in part to the fact people focus on him Falling over ( trying to get fouls) listen, I’m not saying he’s any good, but the falling over is the stick people beat him with which draws away from how often he passes.

Are you honestly saying he always get the ball by running on to it? No, he get the ball usually with his back to goal and 90% of the time passes. You have to be blind not to see it.

Ayew is purely there for the link up play. They’ll attack and leave space. Expect the wingers to invert more and Ayew will feed them and JJ

Millwall are going to really attack us and this could be a great game for Fatawu as he’ll get so much space… if we can get passed the first 20 minutes without conceding, anything is possible. So is a 5-0 defeat, however..

I understand why you say it isn’t a realistic post..for a club that has had financial issues, why would they rebuild a whole new stadium, on the site of their existing stadium, fir only 8,000 more seats? . that would leave them without a home, in a stadium that would be short of the 32k seats we already have, for AT LEAST a full season. None of that would make sense to me. But not much about King Power makes sense these days anyway! it was built to the exact same specs as Southamptons St Mary’s stadium wasn’t it? I think that’s the only area money was saved on- using someone else’s plans!

There should have been someone sliding in on that. You can’t blame Thomas for that at all. He did very well to get the ball across.

I sincerely hope we spend some of that ( alleged) dodgy BC GAME money in January on a new striker and LB. Thomas is a tryer, but he’s limited. Carranza hasn’t inspired me at all and he had an opportunity today and was found wanting.
