I’m disappointed with how his career has gone. Yes I know the serious injury, but his only game this season he got hooked against league 1 opposition. Can’t judge him on just one half, of course, but i’ll disappointed if he goes to league 1 this year instead of a loan in the championship.

Page’s problem is that he’s emerging from the same group as Monga is, who surely is a once in a generation talent. So when you look at how both perform, you can’t help but feel a hint of disappointment when Page doesn’t do the same. But if you take Monga out of the equation and look at Page by himself, then he’s doing well. He’s 17 and getting first team football in the championship and it’s going to have a good future ahead of him.

I know everyone keeps saying it but I’m watching the Ipswich Derby game, I still can’t quite believe the massive difference in quality between the championship and the premier league. It feels like how league 2 felt 10 years ago

I’m absolutely delighted with his start to the season and I have every confidence in him as our number 1 all season. i think we have to remember this is his first season as a number 1. He’s clearly got talent and I think every professional footballer should always think they have areas for growth and he shouldn’t be an exception. I think he’ll begin to settle down and he’ll get used to having the ball at his feet and strikers rushing him. I’m confident we’ll see improvement in this area.
